If the person doesnt get his annual check up, your going to march them off to the doctor ??

In your country, Every Citizen marches off to the doctor annually ??   I think not.

From what I can see the reason why people doesn't wanna go to the docs is cause they can't afford it. So if it is free... then they would go if they need to. Ofc there are always people that doesn't wanna go to the docs, and no ofc we don't march of to the docs if there is nothing we're worried about:)

this "Free" system also bogs down w/ bullshit hypochondriacs going to the doctor every 2 days for any dreamed up excuse.

There are people in the US that dont go to Docs Either.   This "Preventive" medicine excuse is flawed as a reason to have so called "Free" health care.

You believe that there are people that have to much, so you must take it from them to give to those that need help.

I believe in personal responsibility.  I believe in the power of people to take care of themselves.

I believe that the Govt., when given the power to intrude on your freedom, will abuse it.

I dont judge people, I dont begin to believe I know what is best for everyone.

It has been explained to you .... MANY TIMES... that the poor, aged and affirmed are taken care of in the US.  PLEASE MOVE ON !!!

This is about able bodied individuals, such as myself being FORCED into a system that I do not believe in.....administered by the Govt.

I dont need the Govt. to take my money, and tell me what I can and cannot have or do.  You like that system....fine.

I can take care of myself and my family.  I dont need a Govt. Weanie administering to me what I can and cannot do, after they have taken my money from me.

Its really a simple concept....can you grasp that at all ??

I do believe in personal responsibility too BW, but on a different front. I have done quite some voluntary work, I helped kids who have little social and economic chances (poorly educated parents etc.). I have worked with the homeless too, and with war-children. At least I took the chance to realise people need help. And contributing to it is everyone's personal responsibility.
It's a fact that people usually chose their believes what fits their environment best. You run your own business, and probably are quite rich. If your liberal (Adam Smith liberal) ideas ease your mind, then I'm happy for you. S

You're wrong.  They get aid, so they can start to organise things themselves. It's the only moral thing to do. What you're defending is greed, or "personal responsibility", as you call it.. Not every unfortunate is a lazy person BW. When I worked with the homeless, I had a construction worker and an ex-recordlabel owner. The first one still worked, but sent his entire payheck to his son, so he could finish uni. The recordlabel owner was accused of fraud, but when it turned out he was innocent, he already lost everything. It was his accountant.
You seem to live in a terribly protected world BW..
