NW FAM Ranks

25 Papi Papi Papi Chulo! (1444) 
Perhaps a bit over-rated at the BoR, they seem to be growing steadily; up 3 ranks since last Underdog PvC. They have a nice spread compared to other underdog fams. Activity seems mediocre, yet they are going to have to do something special to make it into the top 20.
Contending the 20-25 area

26 StarCraft (1457) 
The only reason they are down in the bottom 20 is that they didn't come off on top after their war. They are starting to look a bit planet-fat there. But their attackers are spread through the south-west like a bad rash. One to watch out for here. Organised, active, in my opinion will cause some headache for a few other mid-ranked fams before long. There is a war thread in forums here, detail their war with 1441. Be fair to say Starcraft didn't come out on top - but they are nowhere near crippled. Contending ranks 15-20

27 We Roxors! (1443)
A pretty solid fam, I recognise a few names. They have a nice corner of the gal fully expoed, although no aggressive spread - which is a shame as they have some decent attackers there which they could make use of. Why are those inactives still in there? Contending 25-30

28 Capricorns Crazy Randoms (1430)
Looking pretty active and recently boosted with the additions of Rain, Aragon and Aboundi to the fam. Up from rank 35 in the last PvC - since finding some more fam members. Hawk is still carrying the fam in my opinion. Would be better to try and jump some other bankers now. A nice core, with some spread starting. Plenty of space for expo still. Their level of success will depend largely on how actively productive their new drafts and randoms are. Contending around rank 25

29 Turtle and the Hare (1425) 
Havent really moved much in ranks. Doing some casual attacks, gradually growing at the standard pace. Doesn't seem to be anything special going on. And unlike the fable - Despite them moving and growing at the pace of the turtle, i doubt they are going to finish the race first. Contending ranks 30-35

30 League of Microorganisms (1421) 
Dont know much about these guys, have a mediocre spread with their attackers and a nice core. Gonna be interesting to see how well they hold up when they come under attack. Get rid of the 1250NW inactive. I dont think they are going anywhere soon. Contending Rank 30

31 The Misfits lol (1439) 
As stated in last PvC - nothing much going on, seem content with their rank as nothing is being done to change it from what i can see. As predicted, rank 31. Could make something out of this round if they decided to organise themselves well to finish off the expo phase to set themselves up in a good position for when the attacking begins in earnest. Contending rank 30-35

32 One way to go... (1453) 
I take it back what i said, they have actually climbed a few ranks. Although now there are 2 ways to go; up or down. You killed off the inactives and got in some better randoms for a start. There are a couple of active Rev bankers down the bottom begging for a jump. Get them producing for the fam and this fam could jump up a few more ranks. Some decent attackers there who could hold their own. Getting there, but still a way to go. Optimistically contending around rank 30.

33 NBA All-Stars (1419) 
Hasn't moved rank, hasn't achieved much of note either - which is a shame, as they are fairly active players who could do better IMO. Currently contending rank 35 unless they get motivated.

34 small But LARGE (1450) 
Small in the fact they have few players compared to most, i get that. But where is the large? They also have a small core tucked away south hoping nobody will notice them. With one or two planets dotted around for attackers.- Another fam can easily clear them if you started attacking. Previously known as Cash war and power. They have some interesting races there and haven't done much to convince me they are going anywhere. Contending rank 35

35 The Capricorn Armoury (1423)
Had climbed from rank 43 NW all the way to rank 25. Had some bad internal communication and diplomacy when under pressure from fam 1424. Dropped 10 ranks after losing Hoad and Mace from the fam. Have just about recovered now and are stable, although they have a small core with little spread. Have naps with too many of the small fams nearby to make farming a viable option. However could climb the ranks again with proper organisation and if they don't run into troubles. Contending rank 30

36 Respect the Authority (1438)
Fallen ranks, and still haven't changed their boy-band fam pic. Half their players are desperate to be jumped to start producing for the fam. Less than active yet may make a comeback (just like Take That) Contending around rank 35

37 Re-organising (1447) 
You have been reorganising for weeks now. Perhaps its time to get organised? Seem to be looking to raid another fam, (i should know) yet failing to get portalled. Mediocre activity. At least they are trying now, contending ranks 35-40

38 Tis the Season. (1454)
Have been climbing ranks since last. Claim they are active ... But doing well under EmoHotpocket's leadership. Need more planets desperately before the expo phase ends if they are to go much further. Contending ranks 30-35 if growth continues

39 Why is everybody leaving? (1458)
Previously known as No Name Clan. Have had some tough times, falling as far as rank 44. Lacking activity in the top players. Leader has been carrying them recently. In the last few days some decent randoms have joined and this fam's ranking has gone from 43 to 39 with the help of a few jumps. If players keep active and organised, could see them climbing further. Contending ranks 30-35 with some luck

40 1337 Death Squad (1449) 
Ub3r-1337 z0mg h4x0rz r g0na b pwning 411 u ch00bz! - not likely. Save your leet-speak for WoW pl0x. But two decent players there carrying the fam, not too bad considering 7 players. 1 of which is a rouge, 1 who is inactive. Needs some fresh meat, new drafts or randoms who don't delete. Not going anywhere soon otherwise. Contending 40-45

41 Free Candy! (1456) 
I lolled ^_^. Half the fam is doing tolerably OK, the rest needs to get their act together. Nicely spread up there but no distinct core. IMO, needs more of a basis to fund fleet and attacks before they think about spreading and attacking. Contending 40-45

42 The BrotherHood (1416) 
Fallen ranks since last writing. Activity is a problem still, organisation a problem too. Advertise on drafts that you need a miracle. Contending 40-45

43 Yea your screwed (1448) 
Cut the losses, get rid of the inactives, then pray for a good random or two. Fill those cores quickly and hold onto your planets... what more can you do? Contending 40-45

44 Dam where not IMMORTAL!!!!!!! (1459) 
For starters you spelt "Where" wrong. Its We're. Secondly, you are in need of help. I think it's best to leave it that that.... Contending rank 44

45 Rating lower than Dubba U (1420) 
*Shrugs* Your existence is preventing fam 1459 from falling to last place. I think that is about all. Contending rank 45.

Speaking hypothetically:
When your leader starts doing inter fam attacks against your top banker, because they dont get on - you know things are gonna get bad....
Then i negotiated a NAP with fam 1424, 24 hours cease fire for me to expo some planets for them to compensate for the ones i took, before it took effect... then new leader gets elected and writes a Leader message along the lines of :

"Clear these bastards right now! Everybody attack!" - thus breaking the CF... voiding the nap and getting us raped...

But Im not gonna rant about all the things that went horrifically wrong with old fam when it came under pressure, here.

Because of starvation, our tax collecting is cut in half.

my instincts are to give this family alot of compliments, but looking into it more i dont think i will.  yes they are #1 size and thats what truly matters (at eor). but right now its just showing us that they have alot and i mean alot of empty planets, showing a lack of infra that will surly hurt them in the end. i have to admit tho that there attackers are none too shabby, but infra speaking they suck atm.  look for 31 to drag this family along behind them all round.
