The exam was Basis of Human Anatomy and Physiology and one of the questions was "list the organs of the respiratory tract and describe thier functions" when I got to the lungs I wrote about gas exchange and what not, then wrote at the bottom "lungs also help humans float, which is useful in a shipwreck situation". It seemed like a function to me!
Which also reminds me, I have some really retro exercise books that look like they come from a 1950s school (I stole them from my dad so they actually might do). Anyway on the front it says
Name...............
Subject............
Form...............
So I wrote my name, anatomy and physiology and then put form: humanoid.
I'd say that was pretty geeky.
