Re: Pathetic americans

no offence

I liv ein europe and always follow american elections because it's so funny.

basicly it's republican vs democrats and the presidentcandidate they put forward is only an image.

I wonder how many americans just vote for a party for the candidate without even looking at the points they bring up for their campaign.

problem: poor stay poor, rich get richer.

it is called team politics, and it is the reason we have a two party system, we need people to wake up and have another strong party ... and the world will have just politics as usual if we keep doing it....
do you see now, that our crisis is bring everyone down.

and we can do all of the education that we want, but as long as the parents don't get it, then the child will grow up to believe that they're parents party is there's

Re: Pathetic americans

You obviously never tried going somewhere in holland then tongue

people often have to go with a car to their work, this might be a 30 minute drive during the day, during rush hour its waaaay more, the highways are one big traffic jam (which costs a shitload of petrol:( ) however we do have more economic cars...

Re: Pathetic americans

i saw lots of people on campus the other day with pins of both mccain and obama.  i asked one with a mccain pin what his stance on social security was, they said they had no idea but that they liked "his vibe."  i then asked someone with an obama pin the exact same question, again, no idea, but they they thought he was going to "really change things."

[fornicating] idiots.

Re: Pathetic americans

When the economy is looking bad I hold on to my money and tell everyone else to spend so the economy gets better.

Re: Pathetic americans

Dutcher,

Eh, ok I stand corrected. But you are still more densely populated because your homes are absurdly expensive, and most people live in apartment-like residences.

Re: Pathetic americans

are you from holland? or are you telling a person who lives in holland about his own country?

Re: Pathetic americans

Of course I'm telling him about his own country.

Re: Pathetic americans

basically Colin powell gave the same reason, "who he is " and he'll be a "transformational figure"

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.
Steve Jobs has ruined this joke.

Re: Pathetic americans

@Yell

The Dutch Reich? Yeah right.

as for Powell, i saw that, you're right, it was pathetic.  and so is what people say about mccain.  nobody talks about real issues, they just say some fruity nonsense that speak to the candidates "character" but tells you absoultely nothing.  screw american politics, its a game, and a shitty one at that.

with all do respect. thats like the last issue a college student would be concerned about. theres going to be like at least 4 presidents after our next president that are going to mess with social security before it can effect them. i dont even know either politicians stance on the issue, because i dont give a damn. im young and healthy.

its how they keep the masses happy.

Re: Pathetic americans

@avo

the point was that they didnt know anything about the candidates.  dont try to defend them avo, they're idiots.  if you walked up to them and talked to them yourself you would clearly see that these kids are idiots.  im sure if i wouldve asked them about taxes or education they still would not have known anything, they just parrot what their parents or the news says and wearing dopey pins.
