Topic: strategy for those who are bored

1) attack your leader
2) send 1 food to everyone in your fam acouple hundred times
3) nuke your leader
4) use the plant false info on your leader
5) use the plant false info on your allies
6) spam the living crap out of the galaxy with 1 transport and 2 droids ( or soldiers )
7) visit the forums ( you'd have to be careful here, lots of spam, geeze people these days are so inconsiderate )
8) if you are very rich, usually only applicable to pop bankers, buy all the food on the market, then go to step 2
9) take a planet in another fams HS, then promptly laser trap it ( this works better then you'd expect )
10) ... anyone else can please add to this!!

this is a kind of serious thread as it is a "strategy" for people who are bored, I've amused myself for many hours folowing these simple 9 steps, and in doing so, accumulated a massive inbox, I was considering putting this into general, but I think its more appropriate here

mmmm what other valuable advice is there to give to people who are bored...

you can always attack someone, anyone, and say that nolio told you that it was a good idea, all the mod's will believe you, trust me!

market spamming is old, you do it when someone keeps underbidding you to frustrate them.
and another good thing to do is get some of your bigger neighbors in to a fight, you send them a message and when they send one back you erase all that they did say, and put in your own words to piss one of them off thinking that the other leader is talking smack about them, it works pretty good sometimes.

mmm yeah, I think sending extra message like that is taking it too far..... Like that borderlines cheating....

Anyway, the traditional way to entertain yourself in IC is to record the empty planets, and if they suddenly get taken, send an expo 'n' 2 droids, your guaranteed to get some spam for it

you can overcome this with 1 bid tongue

say a 10 different bids of 10 from 0.1 -> 0.2 for food

set 1 bid at 0.1 with 100 units and the whole thing is gone tongue

very, very begining of the round, build one explo, as soon as it comes in, send it to the nearest family and laser it. 2-3 should do just fine. build 6 t-ports and as many sollies as you can and take every planet they explore, station like 20 soldiers on it, laser it, again 2-3 should do just fine. repeat.

the best is to have a cammar do that but only to the three closest evile people and just sit back for 2 weeks, then jump him to do an all out banker raid with family waiting to take them from him, so that he/she dosen't get caught with too much NW.

STOP GIVING SERIOUS ANSWERS (glares at BC COUGAR)

heres a good method, if you know someone from a previous round, but they have changed their names, go to message, write in their old name, and send them a random message, then you will know who they are as IC auto searches empire and name

a good hint is to type in BC Cougar, then attack him for starters ( wink wink, nudge nudge ), its best to start small then work your way up

upon joining expo a planet in the most distant system and pass info from forum to their enemy (old but fun)

13) when you send a message, or make a thread/post, click the button repeated in quick succession multiple times, you will send several copies of the same message!!!

if you're about to go to war or if someone has infils on you, and you're a banker, station 1 soldier on portalled planets, repeat until your news is spammed. won't cost you anything and makes your infil a mile long.
