I find myself looking at the approval line at the bottom more than listening to the actual words. They don't have approval lines here in Canada (at least not that I've seen). What a stupid idea. Obama just went up to 100% though with Ohio voters with regards to abortion.

Sen. McCain has FINALLY come out with a knock out punch.....but, I hope there is still time on the clock.

THIS is an absolute ass kicking on Obama, and he will take a hit in the polls.

COMPLETELY off balance on:
Taxes
NAFTA
Gov. Spending

McCain even got him to EXPLAIN HIS position on Aires and his connections with ACORN.
McCain got him to look like a FOOL trying to explain his position on Health care.

When talking about "Joe the Plumber"  and his taxes, Obama says that, him and his friend Warren Buffet can afford more taxes.....
McCain counter, "I thought we were speaking about 'Joe the Plumber'".......BRILLIANT.

I think McCain caught Obama COMPLETELY off balance,
Unlike Debates I & II, McCain did not avoid direct confrontation, and he looked OBAMA in the eye.
He took him on .....

Im wondering...was this all a ploy ?  To save the direct attacking debate for this time ??

He called Obama on the mat on:
Not discussing or negotiating about taking only public funding.....Obama said he would, then passed on it for private funding.
Not having more town halls....only the three debates.

I think here.....McCain slammed OBAMA big time.
Obama looked uncomfortable, and off balance.

McCain took TOTAL control of this debate.
Hands down winner.

Because of this slam, I really give the edge to McCain on the debates.
He closed strong, and he looked like a leader
He talked w/Passion and conviction.  He attacked his foe, and he controlled the flow.

Well, watch the start if you want to see a powerful McCain destroying a timid Obama... This goes for a while till the Ayer's point.

the tragedy is that Obama is going to become president. too little too late. if he had done this first debate, maybe he would still have a chance, but unless the economy starts booming and/or serious foreign threat arises; he doesnt have a chance in hell.

Yet, we Americans are going to let GOVT. run health Care ?

I think, you in Europe, specifically you in Germany....dont realize this.

The US System HAS in place a Public, Govt. run health Care system for the poor, the working poor, retired people and most importantly the mentally and physically ill and handicapped.  There are many run private funded help organizations and govt. programs for catastrophic care.
ILLEGALS are not turned away in US hospitals.

The US also has public Education, Govt. run, through Graduate school.
There are many Alumni run, state run, and privately run scholarship programs.

ILLEGAL Alien Children get a publicly funded education.
Do you really think there is no PUBLIC Education for US born Children ??

You in Europe are happy with a 35hr, so/so comfortable, Govt. mandated:
Education, health care, housing, vacations.......and a mandated work week ?

You have no drive or desire to one day run your own company ? 
Provide a good or a service to people ? 
Employ your own group of workers that YOU can personally see that they are living a comfortable life ??

You need the Govt to do this to you, by taxing a heavy burden on your industry ?

Why do I need to pass my hard earned wealth to the Govt ?   Its a serious and valid question.

I donate to charities that help people MUCH MORE efficiently than Govt.
I want to Retire early and comfortably, and pass my hard earned wealth onto my children and grand-Children.

in the same way i may not understand you have social healthcare and such for your citizens allready...
you do not understand that if i feel like starting my own buisness no one here will stop me.
goverment is very very friendly to buisness starters.. relieve u in taxes for the beginning and so on.
but personally i do not have that drive no. i simply do not like having too much responsibility because i know i am a very clumsy and sometimes careless person.
but, be assured.. if i ever feel like i want to start my own software development company.. i do not have to move to the US to do so.. i can do here.

also the 35hrs week is a 40hrs week.. and its only normal for the "typicall employee"
If you do your own buisness you will most likely have to work way more.
