Iv been catching up with a friend from Michigan who works as a cook in a hospital.  He is a great guy who works hard for his too girls and wife. 

we were complaining about the economy and stupid government parasites through emails when he sent me these stories

#1 I was in the Harley shop the other day and this guy was looking at a bike. The dealer said "if you want I can look at your bike and give you a number to consider for a trade in." The customers response was "I can't buy anything until the economy gets better." I looked over and said are you out of work or in danger of losing work. He replied "no." I told him if he bought that bike the economy would get better for someone. He asked "what do you mean." I told him that everyone is scared to spend money and they are holding onto it so the economy will never get any better. If you can't afford the bike then say I can't afford it but don't blame something that isn't effecting you.

My buddy said he thought I was going to get in a fight in the Harley store. I am sick of hearing people wine about the economy. When this is over and done with people will have lost money but there will also be a bunch of new millionaires that were smart enough to buy when everything was down. It is sure to turn around and they will have big $$$ on their hands.

   #2 A guy I work with, he is 54 years old and has the mentality of an 8th grader. He works like a dog and everything he has is paid for. He has perfect credit. Anyhow he always complains about the gas prices and is furious that the oil people are making billions of dollars. He thinks that government should take over the oil. He also thinks that the people that are worth millions should pay half of their money in taxes. If they can afford it then why not? I want to beat my head against the table when he says this. Oh, and he also thinks Nascar should be banned because they use all of our fuel.

  #3 A cook at the hospital recently got her tubes tied. She says in this messed up world why would you want to have a baby. People are losing their homes and gas is $4 a gallon. I said that is a nice attitude to have. She says do you think that's bad. I told her no if you really feel that way then it's good that you got your tubes tied. She already has a 14 year old that she had at the age of 17. She often complains about her $100 cell phone bills for her and her daughter. Her boyfriend is in prison and she has to send him $100 a week for whatever he needs. She lives in a trailer with a leaky roof and it's on her brothers property. She gets her electricity from him and her cable too. She receives child support and makes about $15 an hour. She somehow can't seem to make ends meet and has to borrow money form her family to fill her gas pig. If I was single with one kid I could live like a king on that money. Oh yeah she loves to play her Guitar Hero and she can afford her cigarettes.  Who do you think she will vote for?

   #4 A cook at AppleBee's accross the street. She has a daughter and her boyfriend has two kids that he has custody of. They both make about $9 and hour. They both receive child support form their ex partners. They drive a $500 car and have a hard time making ends meet. She gets a new tattoo about every 3 months. Her boyfriend is a chain smoker. They both smoke dope and have the cell phones and newest video games. She informed me that she wants me to teach her how to ride a motorcycle because when she gets her tax return she is buying a motorcycle. She is also buying a new computer. I asked how she was getting all of this with her tax return. She said they get about $10,000 back every year due to the EIC (earned income credit). She said that is why they don't get married. Who do you think she will vote for?
