nah keep the systems, you don't want to fall back into old ic, we get a chance to start over and what do the oldies do... lets make it like the old days. Make the round half month longer or even a month( the oldies will like it ) big_smile

This round has been fine, too many planets though.  pp said reducing those by 10/20% which i agree on.  sectors are annoying big, especially for wars.  go back to sectors where we can see the x's and y's

Give it one more round this way and see how many players we get.  It good that small fams are still relatively planet fat, without being farmed constantly, so they are atleast enjoying themselves.

the round is ok, the free space gives smaller (new players) families to grow in the longer run. after bein farmed.

the tighter the space the more farming in smaller families happens, the more players gets demotivated.

But i think if its smaller top fams will be able to fight a lil more big_smile

I think the galaxy should be a little smaller but not too small

I think everyone wasnt ready for a very large map and the small gal tactics and strat were used

Next round players will play differently and after that there should be more serious discussion to whether or not a dramatic change is needed.

To the people who like small gals were they can dominate: Try something new smile well.. like old days, but this is giving everyone a better play through imo, and the big fams next round can play it differently etc etc..


And 1 question, if we are deciding on larger fam sizes and smaller fam numbers for next round, why do we still have the option to stay in fam? Wouldn't a a change in fam numers/size bring on a shuffle?

If you just have a few families (i.e. 30 fams) filled with 20 people would be less farming than a big galaxy with 50 families with 12 players.

30 fams to fill up
or 50 fams to fill up


top 10 have 12 players
bottom 20 have 5 players

reduce map size 15%

if u want smaller sectors then add more of em and go  back to 9 sectors like it used to be....

but dont go trashing how good a round this has been. and if you had a boring round its because you made it boring for yourself. my fam has never had a boring moment yet...and neither have MANY other fams in the gal.
