Topic: How will the world end?

Real topic.

Ok so any ideas on how the world will end? Personally im not a big follower of the Bible, however i believe some of it to be true. In the Bible it says the world share end by fire, which in my eyes make sense. Think about it, whats the most likely way for us to all go out? A nuke? A comet hitting the earth? Global Warming?

In either scenario The heat caused from a nuke big enough to kill everyone (which is already made) would do the job, a Blazing comet could also do it aswell, But i believe ultimately nukes will kill everyone. One day close or far away someone is going to try to eradicate an entire nation or something along those lines, perhaps Russia will lose their mind one day and launch one of their bombs at the U.S. which in turn we'd launch a counter nuke and boom bye bye earth.

Yeah I'm leaning towards the nuke personally. I've read the bible and don't take all of it for fact but there's definitely some truth there. At the rate of things, we'll probably have a WWIII or war of similar proportion. Hopefully I'm dead before then =p

I dont really think that that the "world" will end, if you consider perception "our world", our world is the third dimension and as I understand string theory there really isnt an end. If one were to hypothesize the end of our existence then I believe it would be an asteroid or in absence of that then eventually our sun will turn into a red dwarf as it extinguishes itself and that will burn our world up.

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

which includes nukes i guess.. and nukes don't neccessarily mean a war

i think it's more like that it would be a mistake
a misleading report/intelligence
someone thinks a nuke is coming toward the states, from lets say russia
they fire back, not knowing it wasn't a nuke
pakistan gets in the fun, india sees pakistan gearing up, india sets up
and then everyone gets in the fun smile

and KABOOM, world GONE

Either an asteroid or the sun going supernova on it.
A nuke wouldn't destroy it, it may destroy most life but it won't destroy the earth!

Supernova is very likely, just not very soon, will take a couple of billion years more.
