She wrote a book that is to be released on INAUGURATION DAY, celebrating an OBAMA Presidency.
She is a host on PBS.

Give me a break.
She has a vested interest in OBAMA being President........her book royalties......
Imagine, how much she earns on her book if McCain is elected ??

Here is how I see it.

1.  The Media attacks Palin as incompetent, a babbler, and un prepared....... NO MATTER what.
2.  They then Attack McCain for picking her, what a dope he is.
3.  The Editorial pages of the newspapers, and mags.....rail Palin then McCain.....

It will be a full court press to rip both apart.....

No matter what happens.

Hell, You have McCain CLOBBER Obama.....litterally destroy him, and leave him with his pants around his ankles on Foreign Policy.
......Yet.....the Leftist call it a draw, and no harm to either candidate.

Just look at the moderator picked for this debate......enough said.

BW I disagree on the fact that the book issue is an issue.

1. If McCain wins, the democrat hangover will be so sore that a book like this might well sell way better than in a liberal lovefest - should Obama win.
2. She is not only a professional, but somebody with a paycheck that I would say need to be boosted by this book.
3. Thinking for one second that this escaped the McCain campaign before is again underestimating McCain strategists A LOT. They wanted the story to go out at the last moment, there must be a reason, either to really push her the other way or to make sure she would not be replaced after a month of controversy, for the sheer luxury of being able to get a good excuse.

Glad: "biden just has to politely hint that she's stupid" - he does that, politely or not, he's dead meat in my opinion.

She mentioned the book on some show months back not about the Obama presidency. It's about the impact Obama's CAMPAIGN has had on the political landscape. That is her publishing house's description, not hers.

Dude, it's a cultural thing. Take the politics out of it and just look at it for what it is; an African American woman writing a book about the impact of African Americans in politics. Politics is merely a side note. She would have written the book even if Obama had lost to Hillary for the pure and simple fact that an African American went further in the primaries than ever before.

Ok, I think the issue here is for now to try and imagine how this CAN influence the debate, not to consider she screw it before it happened...

I still think the book's not an issue, but consider her severly biaised like any liberal journalist, and as stated think she will do everything to go to the detail for both candidate, as cornering Palin specifically became some kind of national entertainment.

writes a book titled:  " The Cultural Connection between Professional Athletes, and Crime in America"
The Main focus of the book ??  OJ Simpson.

Well, the book is not an issue......correct ?
So what the judge wrote a book.
Its his Passion.   He likes to write about Athletes....hell, he was a collegiate athlete himself.....no big deal.
