Re: The "Rescue Plan" as its being portrayed by the US.

i personally think that both dem's and rep's should be sent to jail for treason.
and that the top money mongers in America have they're bank accounts ceased, and given to the government of our choosing to run it the right way.
the money mongers have tried for years to make this a imperialist country... but it can't be done, the constitution will always stand in the way of that.
and that fact that they try to hoard they're money is proof positive of they're ignorance:
1. the faster money circulates the more it's worth, so if they hold they're money, then it only becomes less valuable... end result they lose value faster the longer they hold it.
2. the less money people have the more it will cost for they're recreational needs, so the rich will have to spend they're money more than they they're used to, till the middle class is rebuilt.
3. no matter what is done about the bail out, in the end there wont be money to do it anymore, so some one will be caught without a seat in this musical chairs financial politics.
and the seats will disappear faster than one at a time.
so basically the more money we give them the more the value of it falls, and to give money to the same people that screwed everything up in the first place is stupid.... it's like giving a raise to a brainless employee.

all in all, the bail out is like the drug companies making drugs that treat rather than cure so they can make more money, and they are one of the biggest corporate blood suckers of government funds they bill the fed for over 50bil a year in medicare and prescription subsidies.

Re: The "Rescue Plan" as its being portrayed by the US.

we as Americans need t' stop trustin' th' media, they be th' ones that gave our government th' access t' screw us so badly.

if they get they're due then th' government can back off an' do what is right.

as it is they can buy it an' sell it, if we attack them fer bein' unnewsworthy then they will change on a dime like a cheap whore.

because they only think o' th' power, like organised religions, they base they're faith on what we do in th' name o' what they have told us, an' if we rebel on what they say then they will adjust t' our acceptance.
just like a whore.

I recall when amnesty was passed by the Senate, a House Republican killed it by pointing out the Senate under the Constitution cannot originate tax law.

I'm hoping that comes out here too.

Re: The "Rescue Plan" as its being portrayed by the US.

yeah like i said in the other thread just now

mccain just lost the election, imo
obama didn't have too much riding on this as mccain had established himself as the anti-earmark candidate

excpect the liberal media to TEARRR THIS issue apart, and just rip mccain into bits and pieces

he could'vce ended this obama momentum, he lost his biggest chance, there's no coming back now

Re: The "Rescue Plan" as its being portrayed by the US.

I really think Gramm was right, we're becoming a nation of whiners.  This is panic and stampeding around with federal money.

I really wonder how much longer US can keep a AAA rating if we borrow billions in panic and tear up the economy to suit the mob.  I think it very likely in 10-20 years we'll vote to default on our T-bills rather than pony up.

This is like SCHIP, where people with $500,000 in real estate qualified for federal assistance, people writing "I'm conservative and believe in free-market values but I just lost 20% of my retirement when the market fell, we lost a half-trillion in value to our economy"  guess what n00bs that's the stock market, that's what it does, you want a federal agency to buy the DJI until it hits 15000?  Why don't you legislate a COLA to home equity?  Get an appraisal it MUST be valued at least 4% higher every 12 months...that would boost our economy!

Re: The "Rescue Plan" as its being portrayed by the US.

I don't understand why the McCain campaign did not jump on this opportunity to put Palin ahead saying she disagrees with the bailout.

- It does not change anything for McCain
- It would really gain heavy approval in the population
- It would not show they're divided but real "mavericks blabla" with independent minds
- He could more easily back off the stinky bill, to a degree, should the opportunity arise

I mean, here you have a strongly unpopular package and nobody is trying to gain popularity by opposing it, sounds strange.

Re: The "Rescue Plan" as its being portrayed by the US.

golk i would say niether did that because
the other one would go out with a machine gun at them tongue
saying they're just digging the economic mess even bigger
and then there is that risk of it actually working, and then people topple you over

the stakes were for mccain though, obama is winning right now(as much as polls are [baloney], they show something atleast tongue) and all obama has to do it, do nothing too eye-catching, he wants and should stay with the crowd, cuz he can, if played right by obama and if played wrong(like right now) by mccain, he can ride this momentum all the way to nov 4

You're a genius

Re: The "Rescue Plan" as its being portrayed by the US.

Oh look, we lost another $1 trillion since we passed the bailout plan.  And the Fed is now loaning $$$$ directly to companies.

Gee it sure is good the Fed can audit companies overnight and--OH WAIT THEY CAN'T

but I forgot, I'm a dork, I'm a doofus, I'm a fanatic, I failed to see the pure genius in buying up $700 billion in crap by borrowing money

Now the Fed says we'll buy direct from companies...sure that makes sense, after all, if companies don't have money they can't loan out to...oh wait, they don't, well, uh, anyhow we'll save them all from possible potential Chapter 11 bankruptcy, which worked for like 100 years but just isn't good enough. No sir, we gotta have the US govt BORROW UP TO $1.3 TRILLION IT DOESN"T HAVE to bail out the private sector

Good thing we don't have those damn NeoKeynesians taxing and spending in the false hope that keeps the econoy rolling

/sarc

OK OK so what's the Yell plan?  Suck it up.  If we're not eating soup 2x a day for a main course and sewing shirts from old sheets, we're not that bad off.  "Waaaa I can't retire to a live of tourism for another 5 years" shaddap bitch, so you work til you die like, oh, 99.999999% of the human race.

And get the govt OUT, instead of having a few thousand "experts" on the job spending trillions, have 6 billion people spend a hundred trillion, it's called the free market, and its global.    If USA is worth the investment we'll get the capital.

I'm reminded of the old saw about 2 hikers who get charged by a bear.  One man takes off his boots and starts putting on track shoes.   And the other says, you're crazy you can't outrun a bear in any shoes.  And the guy says, "I don't have to outrun the bear.  I just gotta outrun YOU!"

If we're a better deal than Japan or Germany or Russia or China or India, then guess what, global depression ain't gonna stay "global" so far as we're concerned.   But helping people make money seems to be the LAST concern anybody has.. dumbasses.
