yeah but look at it from the 3rd person -  we are top in a gal that no one really cares for or is trying in..... a major admin job needs doing on it next round to make it a real gal.....  this round has been more like sim city than a war game.....

If you tell me, all these whining people... up here, are basicly jealous. Why else would they post in a war topic which isnt even their fam.

joor my fam this round is a joke we are not active not attacking not doing proper jumps and still we prubebly have same or batter infra at 600+ planets less.
my point being that winning in a round where most top ten fams have 2-3 active players 5-6 semi actives is not somthing you need to run into forums from week 1 and blab about( we pw players own the rest is how it started and never stoped yet).

Haha, this has definitely been an "interesting" thread and I got to know a few more people a bit better after not being around for a few years. Thats about all the good that's come out of this, even with the relative inactiveness from both sides in the war, these kinds of threads always bring out the best and worst in people.

and noir is most certainly correct. what is 'real life'? as far as i can tell, everything we do is our real life. if we play football, its real life, and the purpose of playing it is to have fun. the same is true for ic. you play it to have fun, and naturally, if you do well or even win, you will have more fun with your team, becos that is the nature of competitive games. if you lose in a football match or a chess match, you wouldnt then say 'oh it doesnt matter becos this isnt real'. the fact that ic is a computer game doesnt make it any less real. it is still something you commit time to in order to have fun.
