Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

CVG Under Janes convention/ catagories

C = Cruiser, V = Carrier and G = Guided Missile

What I was trying to illustrate is any ship carrying any of the Acid Rain weaponry, a manufactoror of such weapons, and any DarkOne/bug involved (hense the size of the blast) in that weapons production were destroyed.

ps. I also gave you guys a means for internal communication on a ship, via sound powered phones.

Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

Uhm, just FYI: Acid Rain can't be used to wipe out all life, because after a period of time it is rendered ineffective, because the mirco-organisms die out, which is why there is no major storage area for it. Also, if you plan to kill every ship that holds it, the only ships you would be after are Talus ones, Acid Rain was developed shortly before the Talus Empire left the Alliance, so it was never actually given to any of the other members. Unless they stole it or developed their own.

Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

The idea/premise that I am working on, is that the science necessary to achieve this weapon was "given" in some manner to the Tallus by the DarkOne/bugs. The Marker identify of a choosen race would be immune to the effects. So... with that in mind, we would be seeking out to ensure it was not being spread to other races. As we do not want the DarkOnes to find out which race the marker race is.

Additionally, the efforts of the Scion to curb the war, to ensure the marker race would trump these efforts, which in turn would be trumped by any DarkOne activity. The last on the list is any activity by the Star Gods or there agents.

Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

Ah... and current Talus ship types and classes are as such (biggest to smallest):

1. Dreadnaught, Kalnoky Class
2. Battle Cruiser, Echte Class
3. Carrier, Vulcan Class
4. Destroyer, Trident Class
5. Cruiser, Reaver Class
6. Frigate, Dagger Class
7. LAC (Light Attack Craft), Comet Class

Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

All you need is three classes of ships. One battleship class, one destoryer class and one frigate class. And you just mass produce these three ship designs. with the addition of fighters and bombers and gunships.

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

Each class has different uses. Dreadnaughts, Battle Cruisers and Destroyers are main combat ships. Carriers (hold LACs) are typically defensive units, or used in large-scale seiges and only thirteen are currently in service. Cruisers and Frigates are couriers, patrol ships or escorts. All ships have LACs, but not very many.

Also, Nai:

Was that last post about the Talus Empire? or the Talus Republic?

And nai, i trust you didnt give ur guys ability to travel through subspace or whatever thing we are using to jump from one point to the other(sometimes)

And guys, lets work towards another council of 'Greats' tongue. To discuss some shit and whatnot, cuz my guy hasent read a single report since page 6 or something tongue.

EDIT: I was talking to wolves today, a rather lengthy discussion about logan and whatnot, him joining the mortal realm again. When his modem started acting up, it got progressively worse and now he isen't coming on-line again.

Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

The only place we wont travel is to where the Star gods are confined.

The Converts cannot, the Dreamweavers and Scions can with a mere thought, and the Icharys class cannot, unless guided by a dreamweaver. The jump the Icharys did before simply communicated what the thoughts were to the Dreamweaver who allowed for it to make it's jump. It is not nearly old enough to have the power to make those without assistance.

Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

I would find it much more acceptable if only the scions can use this, since it would envolve a lot of power.

Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0

This precedent was set already in the story that the Icharys can make such jumps, I have limited it to only within the confines and guidance of a dreamweaver... this way they can move around as a group.
