Pirate speak is completely out of context with the Sci-fi futuristic genre of this game. It is totally unacceptable to contend with, for even one day a week. If people want to speak "pirate" they can continue to do so by typing their posts with the correct pirate dialect for minimal extra effort. For those of us that do not wish to "pirate-it-on-down like it was 1385" we should not be forced to conform to this method of warped communication. 
In other words - "On Thursday, my Military Advisor speaks funny-like, fix it like it woz pl0x"

I know, Right. besides the age of pirates was more like late 1600's to 1700's. In 1385 I dont even think that they had trade routes that pirates would have pillaged.

We are all pirates in sense of the words. Or thats how the RIAA and the MPAA have us pegged.
Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

Considering that pirates didn't actually make people walk the plank; that stereotype was created by the media and old books like "Redbeard" and "Treasure island". Combined with the fact that most pirates didn't even speak English in the first place. - Now that we are being pedantic.
Perhaps we shouldn't use "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead man's chest" as a definitive basis for our general knowledge?
