Topic: Joe, oh no, Biden!

He deserves a thread, since he is a blunderer of the highest nature, lol.

This guy is trying to be #2 on the Democrat ticket, and due to the attention on Palin, he is out of the spot light, and the media wants to keep it that way. I thought I would air just a few things about this man tongue

~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jan. 31
Senator Joseph R. Biden Jr. of Delaware, who announced his candidacy on Wednesday with the hope that he could ride his foreign policy expertise into contention for the Democratic nomination, instead spent the day struggling to explain his description of Senator Barack Obama, the Illinois Democrat running for president, as
Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!
Re: Joe, oh no, Biden!
Banana, phonana, onana, Joe Biden!
Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...
Re: Joe, oh no, Biden!
Is it wrong to find it hilarious that a thread started by a guy who spams politics with multiple topics on a daily basis is now being spammed?
Just to get things back on target, this is a stupid topic because the media has already gone through this dog and pony show. It was last month's news. It's pathetic and it really only shows that Obama is ok with those who disagree with him. It also proves that he can convince even his most adamant critics that he's ready to be president. I really don't care either way. I will probably be voting for Steven Colbert, because he will make sure the bears don't get me and he's not Mcain or Obama  or that insane looking mega witch that frightens me more than Hilary Clinton.
Re: Joe, oh no, Biden!
LOL
einstein, you have too much free time tongue
but since u posted it, i'll say biden is an idiot sometimes, but obama can argue he's an honest man who will say everything that's on his mind..which plays great with what he wanted and what he announced to the public, he wanted in his VP choice
which is someone who stands up to him...
Re: Joe, oh no, Biden!
So Biden is honestly a racist since he says whats on his mind? My what a clean black fellow you have running for President, so articulate, the first ever I dare say (paraphrasing Biden)
Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!
What is his position on beer? That is so much more important than his political stances for me
Re: Joe, oh no, Biden!
Oh come on it's not racist to acknowledge someone has a certain skin colour. Imo it's racist to be afraid to name it. I think Biden's actually so not racist that he didn't see wrong in those comments. It's all about intent.
Republicans just wanna twist and twist and twist words, place them out of context to somehow indicate discrimination against blacks, women etc. Grow up for a change and come with arguments about the actual issues, not this slandering bullshit. It's pathetic. Save face, try and come off as older than 10 years old. Seriously.
About that plan, so what if the Iraqi's don't agree? He had a suggestion and uttered it, we need people who speak their mind on things instead of being afraid of what they're saying all the time, not adressing issues because they're afraid of what the media will make of it.
And about Hillary Clinton being the better choice, isn't that an indication of good character on Biden? Actually showing some humility? Beats the hell out of Sarah Palin supposedly not even thinking about her abilities and saying yes immediately. I think he was a better choice by the way, after thetough fight between Hillary and Obama it would just not be credible to have them campaigning together.
Re: Joe, oh no, Biden!
Wow the lengths the brainwashing will go to keep them from realizing if this was a Republican I was speaking about they would suddenly be for the death penalty on said Republican...
Re: Joe, oh no, Biden!
Michael, all of the racist tendacies that Biden has are overridden by the fact that the BLACK GUY picked him for a running mate even after the guy made those statements. Therefore, you don't really have a leg to stand on with this spam topic. Let it go. None of what you are saying matters because the "he's a racist" card can't be played when the guy is the running mate to the BLACK GUY. It cancels out the point you're desperately trying to make. You're just grasping at straws. Try another topic and leave this one be.
Biden is a dope.
As Mark Levine labels him, "The Stupidest man in the Senate, Joe Biden."
He has said insensitive remarks, racially motivated,.....and gets a pass that ANY Republican, ESPECIALLY a Conservative....ahem, Sen. G. Allen, ahem...... would never get away with.
Again, an individual posts a legit topic, backing it up w/facts and web links......
And you all want to act like 12 yr olds.
oh yeah, because a black guy cant pick a racist. trusting Biden because Obama picked him makes as much sense as trusting oil companies because Bush said they were ok. Obama picked Biden because he thought it was the best political move to make. not because he likes the guy or thinks that guy isnt incompetent or thinks the guy isnt racist. not to mention we dont have the resources to prosecute and jail the numbers of people that would be caught illegally possessing a firearm when we already have 1 in every 32 Americans either in prison or on parole.
Re: Joe, oh no, Biden!
Avo, that's my point. So mikey trying to play the "he's a racist" card gets canceled out because it doesn't matter, he's running with the black guy, so pointing out the obvious won't do anything but boost Obama for bridging the gap or prejudice. Mikey is doing more to help Obama than he knows. We should all be voting for Steven Colbert instead, you know. He'll put the bears in their place and I'd rather have a guy who sees life and politics as a joke in office than the other two douchebags.
you cant give Obama credit because he did it purely out of greed to become president.
as for voting for colbert. its stupid because nothing is accomplished because Colbert would never win; better to vote for a 3rd party candidate that is actually part of a serious party that will get better federal funding from more votes being cast for them, which could eventually lead to more competition between more parties for president, resulting in better future choices for president.
Re: Joe, oh no, Biden!
I'm not voting for Paul, he scares me just as much as the blond witch and the brown witch. Chipmunk face makes me worry that brown witch will be president in a couple of years. I'm not looking forward to that.
Re: Joe, oh no, Biden!
you should write in "my dick" instead of vote for Colbert, it will be more clever and just as productive.
and it doesnt matter how much you dislike him because he's not going to win. he'll die before his party becomes strong enough, the important part is better competition in the future
Re: Joe, oh no, Biden!
Without knowing the guy I can't say whether he just gaffed in an attempt to complement Obama or whether he is a racist (although I doubt the latter). However, it's amusing how some people come out calling Biden a "racist" and "insensitive" when totally neglecting comments by McCain such as:
"I hated the gooks. I will hate them as long as I live."
Frankly people on both teams have made some pretty shocking comments and gaffs.
Re: Joe, oh no, Biden!
When did McCain say that?  McCain went back to Vietnam in 1990s and shook hands with the Commies and worked to normalize relations.
He went to a prayer service with his prison guard, and shook hands with him, and forgave him, this was years ago.
Re: Joe, oh no, Biden!
These comments were made in 2000 to a bunch of reporters so hardly "years ago". Google the quote and you can find articles on it. Besides the point is that McCain has made comments that can be perceived just as bad as those made by Biden. Just trying to present a balanced argument wink
Re: Joe, oh no, Biden!
No I would not, I can say I am not happy with McCain, over a lot of issues, but Obama means disaster. If Hillary had won, I would prepare for WWIII, or Civil War, but I can honestly say her destruction of the United States would be less than Obama's.
I would not have voted at all if McCain had not picked a strong conservative. My vote in Oregon never counts in national elections. I will try to vote for sure however, due to Palin getting the nod.
Re: Joe, oh no, Biden!
I find it odd McCain would say he would never forgive "the gooks" when he forgave "the gooks" 15 years ago to great fanfare
