You can screw up killing yourself in alot of ways!

1: Gun to head, policeman tackles you.
2: Gun to head, pull trigger, recoil knocks the barrel away, bullet grazes your ear or something.
3: Gun to head, pull trigger, trigger is jammed.
4: Gun to head, policeman sticks a gun to your head and says "FREEZE!"
5: Gun to head, pull trigger, but not fast enough, because someone else just pulled trigger on your gunhand!
6: Gun to head, pull trigger.  Damn it, out of bullets.  Crime doesn't pay.

I havent really checked into it, because i really dont get involved much in Non American related incidents. Anywho whoever the guy was i believe that someone should have spotted his illness before such a thing happened, seeing as it happened at a school the guy must be relavitely young thus must have parents that are still active in his life. If his parents/friends failed to see such a significant downfall in his character, what are they really paying attention to?

And for these school shootings, exactly when did it become popular to go into a place of learning/the future and take lives? Seriously disturbs me, and is incredibly selfish.

what a coincidence, people in America don't need to own a gun to feel protected either!

but people in America feel the need to have the freedom to increase their family's protection by responsible use of firearms if they so choose to.

because we will only be able to take guns away from law abiding citizens and the only deaths that will be delayed until natural causes would be idiots accidentally shooting idiots, which prevents idiots from reproducing and is a good thing. not to mention in cities that have outlawed guns, such as Washington D.C. and Chicago, we've seen increases in homicides. we also cant even prevent hundreds of thousands of hispanics from illegally crossing our border, the idea of being able to control the distribution of guns in this country is laughable.

I have actually saw a person been shot in a head. He was able to sit down and waited for the ambulance.

I wonder how they'll change the gun law in finland. it's working atm... thou not sure how high suicide rate we got in finland per person, but it was few years ago one of the highest in world.. Anyways problem is these days people take others with them when they do it as a stament that things aren't working and there's no stopping it.

I just hope they don't change gun law that much, as tbfh it's just a media stunt. If people want to kill themselfs and if to top that all they want to take other people with them.. it's pre-planned action and no gun law is going to stop that when it get's to that point.

Generally about US gun laws.. dunno what's the status there, but US gun laws in comparison to finnish.. let's just say ours is 1000% more controlled but when you get a license to hunt or just certain age without criminal record.., you get the semi-automatics, thing is.. if you got a gun in finland when moving around, I'm quite sure no1 has another gun outside their home in 50km radius unless your in hunting area with your hunting club and walking the streets with it thus not even the army trained dudes (80% of finnish males of over age 19, 90% after age 24 got the training) can't stop him as we have no guns available to us so only option is to run like hell and hope police get's in time.. what's very unlikely as low crime rate, minimal cops... we don't have 10's of cops showing up.. maybe 2-3 patrols at same time in a city outside capital due to population density and general peacefullness.

Then if we could carry guns with permits.. god help us, finnish people drinking as we do and allowed to move around with guns.. let's just say it would be a damn wild west without limits, as when finnish dude flares up, there's no limit to the anger as we'r very damn bottled up people still in emotional lvl's due we'r teached that way at home atleast in northern finland.
