your sense of wars just don't make sense tongue

and long distance wars are harder and need more planning and coordination from a fam to win a war and test your real skills. a share war only test who has the bigger infra who saved more who will over jump the other and boom fam won who jumped the most. wink so i think this is more a real war than those shared wars were its only about who has more fleet wink

and just 1 question, what do you wanna gain with a war than tymo. ?

meh, wars have just changed in IC - in the old days, you crushed the attackers first to get to the bankers, then someone realized "gee... why not hit the bankers, then "deal with" the attackers.... sure is easier"

Not necessarily the most fun development, but certainly has its upside

So a banker raid is not a war cuz you hit only the bankers?

Does that mean as well that when I start nuking innocent civilians from some country it is not an act of war cuz I am not hitting the army straight away?

Though guys, to be ultimately fair - due to the huge amount of unexplored planets, it's become really really easy to banker raid.

Back in the day, getting one shared system with a banker was hard enough - so banker raids weren't easy. These days it's comparitively easy to drop your NW, mass expo their cores, portal up and boom they're [w00f!].

Though to counter this, people should fill up their systems like 55 - unlike the gaping holes 63 had all over their core.

Though once again, countering that, you could say having a person drop their NW does take a bit of organisation an effort - and sacrificing their uber spread. I mean, back in the day, the equivalent would be someone dropping NW, soemone else mass attacking cores and passing them off to small people.

83 started with an excellent raid on one of our top banker. respect because they really did a number over on rambo, but it did beg the question, were his planets even portalled? for an attacker of 2mil NW to have fleet hovering over 150 planets... a banker of 3.5mil NW should no-way have lost so many planets. anyway we'll let you decide on that 1.
94 instantly retakes all lost planets.
then razor jumps about 350k fgs, then gets ran :@............
so far there the only real events.

and jarik we had no shares with 94 for a banker run, you don't need shares for a banker run just need to know how to run a banker from9 tickers wink

Haha, the best can plan with the rollbacks and keep it all moving just like there wasnt a rollback tongue But even with good planning these rollbacks have been annoying, but we have a few days till next pirate day wink
