sucks big time. It means that a fams doing badly entering midround might aswell giveup cos they havent got enough time left to catch the leaders no matter how well they play. Whats wrong with just deciding winner by planet count?? how is that possibly unfair?

The score system is more to prevent EOR jumps to have any real meaning any more. And maybe to prevent infra whoring a little bit

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...

Which it won't do, because most players like fudge and myself totally disregard the score system. in truth all it is there for is to piss me off cuz i have to switch into views of rankings that matter.

only people who give the score system any credit are those benefiting from it

how is my logic flawed?

the only ppl who benefit from the scoring system are those who get off to good starts and then do not have any major conflicts throughout the round.
Afraid of change? not at all. but i see families who are in the top 5 in both nw and planets, but are outside the top 10 in score. score tells us what happened yesterday, not what is happening today.
