Re: Space: Sign Ups and OOC, Version 2.0
Not dropped, I still want to bring back a few that I introduced. It just seems Sala keeps on making stuff up that will destroy us entirly if not everyone acts immidiatly.

I do? The Civil War is one? Well that more of a thing to tie in with the Scion stuff, it really won't affect the Alliance that much.
That why all of us rushed in to help you
. Probably our fault aswell ![]()
EDIT:
Look what I found at page one
from Sala
"Damn! I was going to have tensions between the Talus and the Wardancers... but maybe not if you want tension Arocalex. In a galxy there are trillions of systems with dozens of trillions of planets in each system... not even the Kallum Empire had spread that far, so there is still an abundance of life.
---And the Cy'tan are not the only member of the Alliance expanding, the Talus Empire is being built up in an area relatively close to Blacken, where the original Talus homeworld resides. Locus (start out system of Garrus's forces) is on the border of the UEF and the Talus Empire <-- Just FYI.---
But the punch line is, Arocalex is not the only person building an Empire here wink
Plus we have the Wraith, Kallum remanents and the other 'K' guys that I never remember how to spell so I'm not even going to waste my time butchering their name tongue, to fight with."
And now you are obliterating your own people, commiting mass genocide. Now that I think about it I dont think Jeodan would aprove of this. I dont think i've written anywhere that he saw one of these weapons or infact read about them.

You caught me : \
:d
There you have it; The Battle For Middle-Earth has begun.
I need Fokker to post and talk to me X|
Nobody post about the space battle, I had an idea ![]()
I'm gonna join up with a Cy'Tan fleet ![]()
EDIT: Saving all ur asses once again even tho i'm the bad guy
.
Sala, you post how they suicide.
The latest post is meant to prelude what is going to happen from the point of view of the Scion, or one of their observers. As I conclude the first arc of Scions role in this story, I will come back to the speach that Nai gave that the Scion Assembly.
But since I dont know what exactly each of you will be posting in the coming future, this will allow me the opportunity to include it in the speach. Please take heed of this tho.
Also, in anticipation of the post, expect a number of things to happen. 1. The Scion become incredibly intolerent of any fleet with the Acid Rain weaponry, and utter decimation of any facility in which it was produced, but those same facilities replaced with a scion equivilent, much the same way the base was destroyed when we gave the Icharys. In some cases the bases will be replaces with Scion buildings, but will be very rare.
Also, all galaxy wide communications will cease. Any messages must be courried from one planet to another. There will be massive failure of any computer based systems of all combatant races on any combatant ships. Combating fleets will be attacked or put into statis by Scion. Bug attacks will become much more frequent and more devistating to non-Scion guarded planets. Agent of the star gods will be more active, but combatted anywhere we can find em, and not subtlely at all my the Scion.
Scion activity will constantly be offering protection if they join. With the increased activity by the star gods and the darkones/bugs.. I would expect to see many planets simply out of hope for safety covert. The greater the devestaion of the attacks, the more will want to join the Scion. So consider this time of war, incredibly difficult and not easy, like you've been making it out to be.
The average Scion fleet if you want to put any engagements will be a dreamweaver as a flag ship, and 5 to 7 Icharys type pickett vessels. If/When you do have your first engagemetns vs these squadrons, not even for an instant show that you guys have a chance. I will be giving you opportunities for that, ie a break, here or there.
ie.. of my post above ^^
This will only serve to heighten the accomplishments of your story lines guys.. I am excited to see what unfolds!
Btw, the Scion are NOT out out to fight you. They have an agenda, and if you guys are in the way... kiss their hind end goodbye.
zomg, I sense godmodding here, I want one thing, Cy'Tan ships dont rely that heavely on chips and whatnot, they are in a way organic creatures, fused with technology. And with the Cy'Tan having taken over a lot of the production capabilities of many alliances you may have to reconsider how capable the dreamweavers will be against them. And with shit loads of other variables that we introduced over the months. With the history of the Cy'Tan uncertain including their origin and that Jeodan is 'special' for lack of another word
.
What I want to be clear about here, is I am far from Godmodding. Again, there are 15 Dreamweavers, and Nai.. plus my converts. Our principal advesary is the Darkones/Bug's that are nearly our rivals.
Must I remind you that all of you have exhibited fleets with 10's of thousands of vessels? Nukes, Viral Rain, massive construction abilities, huge populations etc.. You're empires can do much more than what my guys can. We just do what little we do with near ultimate Authority, and even that I aim to give you opportunities to leverage on. I am defined what I am doing anyhow in the speach. I hold hold myself true to that, so please if you think I am digressing from that, please speak up.
And I quote:
"You must cleanse this galaxy of these warring races, destroy the formula, cleanse that galaxy of the bugs, and re-secure our banishment of this supposed Star god race.
And just a little more thought into this.... 3 infantile bugs, with their brood taker, attacked one of your your massive fleets, feeding on the crews in those ships. And they did so with no care about the rest of your massive fleet.
And really the brood taker didn't really even attack your fleet. A crew'd icharys-class corvette is not a match for the older grown bugs, but is a match for a infantile bug, which is what they are used to for. So, just consider that as a scale of the power of the fleets I have in my story.
Anyhow, you know what I am after, you can always offer up the weapons for disposal, dismantle the manufacturing centers for the viral/acid rain weapons etc.. Then you and your others are for the most part out of harms way, unless of course ,I am after a bug or an agent of the star gods.
So again, that leaves me to the premise I am far from god modding Arcolex.
Gah! Stop making intricate story lines
.
And massive fleet? I didn't show you a massive fleet yet. All the history surrounding the Cy'Tan all add to how they got where they are. In a sense they are a race that only evolves through necessity.
And still a large part of the Cy'Tan populous is hibernating until enough worlds can be colonized or need to be conquered. Obviously the men in charge do not want a repeat of what happend previously and aim to pacify the universe by slowly creeping within all aspects of their life. Assimilating as it were.
But i'm telling you too much already
. We probably will never even get to this stage of the roleplay... ever. And about the fleets and stuff. I needed to enter myself as a strong player in the alliance and I couldn't really find a good reason as why they had never met or heard of this race before. Maybe I overdid it a little, but every word that I wrote down sounded really cool
.
Anyway... I forgot where I was going with this. I think it's just that I do find ur people to be incredibly powerful and that you still stear the story a lot the way you want it to instead of giving everyone a chance to add some level of depth. As you did when you completely took over my character and made him into a [w00f!]
. But I'm fine with that to a degree. And I am willing to follow your lead, if only to see what you have in store. It's not like I'm bound to post.
EDIT: And fokker if your still alive Jeodan would probably have allowed the construction of one power centre but under intense scrutiny of Cy'Tan soldiers and scientists. It would need to be a joint venture of some sort or they would not allow it. Because of course the power that you would be receiving would be enormous.
Hmmm... I have only one request: Can the communication shutdown wait until after my epic slug fight in space end? I'm also willing to follow your lead, if the other guys are for it too.
Heh.. Arc... I didn't make him a [w00f!]... has he even discovered what we replaced it with? hint, think Bio-Mechanical technology, ie selfrepairing to a degree, and given as a gift* . The Scion always replace the old with the new, and typically never step back.. at least from their point of view.
Well, to add a twist Salamandastron.. perhaps near the tail end of your battle, the communication dampener will start to take effect? Ad lib as you see fit ![]()
Added thought ** perhaps the Icharys can help point out or instruct him on what he's got..
HE probably sustatined injories in the battle so now they are healed. He'll notice when he has the time to re-examine his wounds.
What does your people actually do? Do they simply block radio waves and such or is it something else. Because the Cy'Tan can communicate through telepathy and have set up some psycher sort of people on various planet that can communicate through subspace.
It would be within the operational zones the Scion are in.. And would be distinctly military communications that would be blocked. And it would be more or less long ranged, not so much if you had two ships parked next to each other.
The Scion are seeking out ships carrying the Acid Rain warheads, so large fleets would be where we would be initally the most active. You could expect much more decisive dampening fields near us. I'll highlight a bit more in a post today how it works etc.. I believe it would be better to suggest that communications are cut to near nil in proximity of our operations. So I would conceed that normal communication accross civilian and normal broadcasts would not be typically disrupted, for reasons such that we have to broadcast the CotL message to your people somehow ![]()
Hmm make ur post and I will then conclude if and how it exactly affects the Cy'Tan
The start is up...
The Kyrozch revered the Scion? I didn't know the Kyrozch revered anything, except the Fisher King. But hey, if it works, it works...
What government owns those ships?
It could have been anyone employing the Acid Rain weaponry.
That would be the Talus... I don't know that CVG is the correct prefix for a Talus ship (or indeed that there is one), but we'll let Sala comment on the matter. If he has no objections, we can let it stand.
