- State senate, U.S. senate(when he was 43 y/o --that's a big accomplishment BTW), he's a smart sob, smartrer than palin, mccain, biden put TOGETHER, has again and again prooved his judgement is right, -- you don't need Executive experience, especially when everything you did whi8le you were governer, you lie about for example the bridge to no where, she was for it, until everyone around her opposed it, they kept the money, alaska has the most earmarks than ANY OTHER STATE, just this year they recieved $200 million in earmarks, she drove a town of 9000 into a debt of around 20 million -- executive experience MY ASS, if she had actually done something good there or ATLEAST not have lied, she might have had a little more respect from me

Explain to me, why you wish to compare PALINs experience, but not OBAMAs ??  Why is Obama ready, but PALIN is not ?

This isn't about Palin per se but the President lives in the White House, is the VP given a particular residence or just whatever they want/can afford?

On Palin in particular, I've heard a lot of people, not necessarily hear but around, mention how she's a great choice because she has views more in line with hardcore conservatives.  My question is simple, so what?  Does the VP actually have any power when it comes to decision making?  I can understand when people mention Joe Biden's experience as an asset for Obama because it only requires an advisory position to be useful, but it seems that Palin's ideas being more in line with Conservative ideals requires actual decision making power to be of any use.  Admittedly as an advisor Palin could say, "Hey conservatives would like this." but would she have any ability to actually enforce it?

Obama should be up by 5 pts now.  Historically, undecided go Republican.  Late undecided ALWAYS go Republican.

Another hint.  Look at the state polls.   Look how Obama is not moving, but McCain is gaining.....as undecideds start to declare.
