Topic: Politics Forum Introductions Thread!

Yeah, I took the idea from the threads of Flint and Noir.

Pretty simple concept.  Make a post introducing yourself for new and returning people on the forums.  Post about your own history, some background info, a background of your beliefs, favorite ice cream flavor, etc.

Some notes:
1: Please only comment about yourself.  I will ask a moderator to edit your post if it's used as a rebuttal to someone else.
2: If you want to update something, please just edit the original post, so we don't end up having 50 pages of introductions for no reason.

With that, let's see how this works!

Liberal atheist.

Waiting for the 1 world order.

Re: Politics Forum Introductions Thread!

I'm a Canadian, definately Liberal, but probably more centreist. (Yes, that is how you spell Centre. Has American fallen so low that domestic produced dictionaries are no longer adequate?)

I believe that a free market style system is the only, current viable market model that we have, but ONLY if it has limitations and is under constant, and careful, watch of government.

Atheist.

Also proud of Canada's ties to the English monarchy. It reminds us of who we are and were we came from.

Re: Politics Forum Introductions Thread!

It's very typical that some of the people above me stress the point that they're American. This is just a remark, nothing more..

Anyhow, I suppose you can call me a Marxist, democratic socialist, pro-Belgian rather than pro-flemish and atheist. I'm starting my master in History this year.
I have great problems with blind trust in God and people who express elaborate political views without having a clue what they're talking about..

I just thought I would mention that.

Glad:
Nah, just a bachelors of business administration in finance, followed up with a masters of science (nope, not MBA wink) in finance.
6 Hours could have had a double major in economics, or 6 in marketing and could have doubled there as well.

Stock market is what I love - so I don't have much of a backup plan that isn't in the financial field, although financial planner is my "life" back up plan for when the hedge fund start up crashes and burns... more than once wink
