Topic: Starcraft: The Reclaimation of Auir

So this is a repost of an old story, probably 4.5 years old now, done between me and Heaven Bound.  I'll post it as it was written including comments and spelling errors as I believe it makes the best representation of the original work.  Kinda don't want to spoil it like happened in the Starwars remakes.
I'll probably group the comments together and keep posting at a rate of about twice a week.

[Question Jan 6th, 03:15 GMT]
This is my lot in life. I am here as a historian only to report the events that have trasnpired. My name is Malfurion Tartarus I am a terran, or human being depending on where you wish to call home. My home was called, bah the name is irrelevant for it is gone now. A smoldering ash of a world completely lifeless and desolate. My world was one of the first of the world destroyed by the protoss in their vain attempt to purge the zerg from our sector. Many say that the protoss are good. That they are our only hope of defeating the ravinous zerg. I don't care. They killed my wife and child in that purge and so I and like minded men have banded together and turned on them and the traiterous terrans that have sided with those vile murderors.

The Overmind in his melevolence saw our paiin and have joined us with his hive. We are part of the swarm and have virtually elliminated all that oppose us. The febble terrans and desperate protoss currently only hold a minor corner of Prothates. In the coming days this will be desimated and the Overmind's rule will be absolute.

Tarteris, sat in a protoss circle of council. A set on five men, on each side of him, and they were listining intently on what a man was saying, "And if we launch are fleets at the zerg controlled planets, and purge each, then we can eliminate them all!"

Suddenly a man jumped up, "We can not just, purge, as you say, each planet, look at Tassader!" as this was said, a few gasped, none could forget his betraly of orders to spare the human bodies from the flame.

"Look at what he does, if we observe each planet, then we will beable to attack only, the Zerg, the Confederacy, are not the true enemy" he paused and sat down. The man that was standing bowed lightly and sat down, looking at the man harshly.

One more man stood up, "We needn't argue over trivil matters, the true cause is Auir, what would happen if the Zerg sent their swarms to Auir!" the man looked around, then looked at Tarteris, he was sitting almost in a trance, "Tarteris, are you with us?"

Tarteris looked up quietly, "For all the things you say, you forget the most important thing of all" the man looked at him with an odd expression. "we are the first born of the Xel'Naga, we wer born with purity of form, yet as good as we are, we sit and argue. And remember the Aon of Strife?"

They looked at him with a peculiar experisson, ofcourse they didn't know about the Aon of Strife, Tarteris thought to himself, he then contiunued, "We argued, day and night, then when we took arms we spilled the blood of are own brother's, and sister's, then, as the Xel'Naga watched us quirrel and attack eachother" he paused.

"they left us to are fighting, and many of us died" he looked at them, and wondered there reaction. One of them spoke, "so what does it mean?" asked the man, "It means" said another, "That action must be taken, but alas, what type of action?"

Tarteris stood up and spoke again, "I have sought you here to give you a warning, a warning that I recieved from Zeratul, the zerg were created by the Xel'Naga, they are the second born, and also, I have brought them here to show you the power that the zerg can release on us" He waved his hand and ten dark Templar warriors appreaped, infront of them, was Zeratul, at his side was Tassadar. "Welcome" spoke Tarteris.

Re: Starcraft: The Reclaimation of Auir

[Question Jan 8th, 03:51 GMT ]

I am the Overmind. I control countless zerg covering the entire galazy. I see all and know all. I have overlords observing some of the most techonologically advanced races, some of the strongest races, and some races whose physic powers have achieved unimanagable levels. Of all of these only the protoss concern me. All other beings that I have ever encountered always tend to lose two of the other traits in their pursuits of one. The protoss have managed to continually improve all three of these simultaneously and have sacrificed nothing. This ability troubles me and so I will tend to their incorporation into the hive before they can become a threat to my swarm.

I am pleased at the early contacts into that sector. A violent, techonologically primative, and physically weak race, terrans, seems to contain the physic seeds I require to augment my swarm to compete with the protoss on their terms. As a bonus they also posess experimental ships capable of destroying those pesky shields that the protoss use to defend their armies. Their puny defenses fall at the slightest assault. Their fleets crumble at the power of my onslaught.

The protoss have attempted to thwart my progress by utterly destroying the worlds that have fallen under my influence. Their attempts have earned my admiration because through their ruthlessness they have slaughtered millions. Their attempts have earned the hate of those very same terrans that they attempted to save. Because of this I have attracted the samples that I need. Some have even come to assist me in the destruction of the protoss without my queens infesting their minds. Ah the wonders of ruthlessness.

[Heaven Bound Jan 8th, 15:36 GMT ]

"And a deep welcome to you, Tarteris" spoke Tassadar. As they came into view someone of the leaders stood up and made way for the door, but before they could get there a dark templar, had uncloaked himself, so they sat back down into their chairs.

Zeratul spoke, his vioce was, hard to describe, but very low, and it seemed as if he had something in his mouth that made his voice crackle. "We are glad, that you have told them this information Tarteris" as he spoke he heaved a great sigh.

"It is good to know, that they" he pointed a finger to the other leaders, "Understand the trouble that they are in. And very good of you to remember the old teachings" he looked around and then made an odd sound.

As he did the dark templar brethren he had with him dispersed but he and Tassadar stood in sight. "Tarteris, we need your help, you have the power to have the entire protoss army go after the Zerg-"

"You should know that I will not kill defenseless Terran to get to the Zerg Overmind" Tassader nodded, "Then let me refresh, If you are able to get the will of the Hierach's then you will beable to fight with us again, as we did in the last stages on the Aon of Strife"

Tarteris nodded, then smiled, "I am, upset that you didn't know, I am the leader of the Protoss Army, the Conclave is, is, still in control of the public, but Military judication is directly under my command"

"And furthermore, we just need commanders" he looked to Zeratul, and then Tassader, "so, Tassader, do you wish to help me? ANd you as well Zeratul, do you wish to help me destory the Zerg Crebrates and bring the dreaded Overmind to death?"

Tassader nodded, "Tarteris, it would be a great honor to serve one so high in the Kalia's Order" Tarteris shook his head, "Don't bow to be, you are the people who took action against, the ConClave and were able to establish what we have here"

"That" Zeratul spoke, "Was nothing compared to what I want to do now, recently, when I killed the Crebrate Zazs of the Overmind, as you know are minds touched, but I fear that your homeworld, Auir, will be attacked, they Zerg Overmind, is looking for the Kydrain Crystals to maifest itself"

"It is going to attack the Protoss Temple, the first place were the Xel'Naga set foot on Auir. We will need to prepare ourselves, for if we neglecte the power of the Overmind, we will all perish"

Tarteris looked at him, "Zeratul, Auir is your homeworld as well" Zeratul nodded, "Yes, but it pains me to see my homeworld, because, the last time I saw it, there were bodies heaped to the heaven's"

Tassader nodded, and so did Tarteris, and then they all sat down, the other leader's were in, somewhat of shock, they had never even seen; let alone hear the Voice of Zeratul. They sat in awe at his presence, and even more the abilities of the Dark templar energies.

Re: Starcraft: The Reclaimation of Auir

[Question Jan 11th, 04:44 GMT]
So... How did I a terran actually join forces with the swarm? As I said they killed my wife and child, the protoss did. These enlightened beings saw us as nothing more than cannon fodder with their own private war with the zerg. Following that moment I lost everything worth living for until that day. I heard a voice in my head. It told me proceed Calis Teldal. This was one of the first worlds to fall to the zerg onslaught so I believed myself to be mad and listenned. When I arived I expected certain death, but on the contrary I learnt that there were other likeminded persons waiting. As the story goes we were all called here after losing loveones to the protoss. The reason became obvious we were the zergs sepecial terran division. We had nothing to live for and were willing and able to fight the protoss and were happy for the opportunity to strike back. We were incorperated into the swarm but our individuality was preserved as the Overmind wanted us to continue to use our technology. Funny thing is everytime that voice said techonology it sounded sarcastic as if we had none. This puzzled me for a while but I allowed my mind to focus on the increased strength that I had achieved and was resolved to destroying the protoss.

To test his new division the Overmind first turned us on our fellow terrans. We were sent to some of the most fortified terran worlds, those that actually managed to surive the first wave of the swarm. He was impressed with our effiency and ability to determine the weaknesses of any terran defence due to our intimate knowledge of their systems. I always had the feeling that we were being watched and the gut feeling that I had forgotten who my real enemy was but this fell a distant second to the all consuming thought of being finally able to strike back at the protoss. I watched our progress and noticed that we were not necessarily destroying all terran worlds just creating a pathway through these systems. The progress seemed focused and steady, perhaps towards the mythical world of Auir. There were stories concerning the beauty of Auir. It was generally thought to be a lush tropical planet much more massive in size than our real home Earth. It is unknown whether any terran government has actually been in direct contact with the protoss but as stories goes it was in the direction we were headed. Further more the Overmind seemed to permiate a feeling close to joy for each step we took closer in the general direction that we were heading.

The longer I was connected to the swarm, the more I heard this voice in my head, the less I was concious of my actions. Before long it appreared that I was merely an observer of my actions. I saw my hands in action, I saw myself pressing buttons, lauching nukes, and basking in the glow of the fall out confident in the knowledge that my improved generics was immune to the radioactive after effects. There is no more beautiful sunset than that after an nuclear bombardment.

"Very good" Tarteris remembered Zeratul's last words with great pride, he had explained to him his thoughts on the Zerg swarms, and the strategy that he was going to use against them.

Tarteris beamed as Zeratul, and Tassadar began to work out strategy themselves, as well as forces, and which planets, much to Tarteris's dismay, had to be purdged of life.

As they were almost finished, the doors to there council opened witha large 'whoosh' and a warroir stepped in, "Fenix!" spoke Tassadar proudly and walked over to him, "It has been a long time my freind!"

Fenix nodded, "Indeed it has Tassadar, and who is, your freind?" he pointed to Zeratul, "He" spoke Tassadar, "Is the Highest of the Dark Templar, he will be helping us as we attack the Zerg forces"

Fenix nodded weakly, "Okay?" he spoke somewhat detached he heard of what the Dark Templar did during the Aon Of Strife, but that was in the, distant pass.

Suddenly Zeratul laid out a, very, very large map, on it, was, litteraly, moving things. "This" he pointed to a large red color planet, "Is Jarh, it is a Terran planet, in sector 8, it has been under are watch for some time, and, as we fear, it is starting to be infested"

"Then we shall remove it!" Spoke Fenix at once, he was one that voiced his mind, no matter the sitution, "Fenix" spoke Zeratul, "That planet, is, are key!" Fenix looked oddly at him, "What?" Zeratul smiled, "I will explain, Jarh will be attacked by the zerg"

"and most likely, the zerg will place a cerebrate there so that the planet will easily be under control of the swarms" Fenix nodded, "and when it does"; "we will smite the planet and the Cerebrate!" spoke Tassadar, almost finishing his sentence.

"Almost correct young warriors, fist, we will have to land, and I will have to kill the cerebrate with my energies, this will let me see the swarms secrets and their moves, then yes, we can bombard the planet and turn it to galatic dust"

Zeratul, Tassadar, Tarteris, and Fenix all agreed. They all shook hands, and went there ways, Zeratul and Tassadar were going to stay for a little longer, atleast until Jarh was attacked, then they would leave back to Shakuras.

Everything is going according to plans. My swarms are moving with impuny. Even those minuscule fragile terrans seem to be pulling their weight. I have even learnt of a dark pressence using similar powers to mine and actually tired to make contact with me. Silly puny protoss can not comprehend what I am or what I have become. They consider me their equal without knowing that I contain knowledge about the cosmos that they dear not even dream. Even now I can see them plotting, still believeing that they have the upper hand. I have determined to play their little game. They want me to send a Cerebrate to Jarh, then so be it but while they move to know the "swarms secrets and moves" I will be preparing a full scale assault on Auir. Their major continent Consig`Nals and Minor continent Prothates will fall. As the remainder of the protoss army from Antharas moves to defend their comrades I will bring to bear the fullness of the entirity of the zerg swarm upon them. I will incorporate the protoss into my swarm and I the Overmind will achieve domination of my greatest threat.

"So" spoke Tartertis, "We will attack Jarh when?" Tarteris was worried at had been two days since they all had last spoken about this situation and he personnally wanted direct action.

"We will attack" Zeratul looked around "As soon as we have a battle plan" He then looked at Fenix, "So, Fenix care to shed light upon the situation at hand?"

"Well, basicly, if we are to attack Jarh, we will need a good amount of forces, manily air defense, or escorts, this is because the Zerg, and Terran, have constructed an orbitaly defense paramiter around the planet"

"So" Fenix took out a small orb, he pressed a mixture of buttons and a small planet, was created above the orb, after he enlarged it, the planet was Jarh. "This" he pointed to a large defense ring that incircled the planet.

"That is the defense paramiter, if we break that, we will beable to get directly to the planet with are ground forces. So" he placed one of his fingers on a part of the Defense paramiter, "This is the main section, this, as well as twenty other places, are the man connections between the power supplies"

"If we are able to remove even seven of them, the Paramiter will lose 65% power, more then enough for us to go by and land, however if we wish to control the planet, I suggest we destroy all power cup links"

"That is good, but we don't wish to control the planet, after we slay the cerebrate we will remove it with a planetary bombarment" Tarteris looked at Zeratul oddly, "After we remove the civilians, right?"

"Prehapes, maybe all of them, are against us, then we will have no choice, Tarteris you will have to set aside your personnaly beleifs against what the Conclace taught you. Yes it is dishonorable to attack defensless enemy, but hte swarms will not spare that courtsey on us"

Fenix continued, "Well then , we will need to incirle the planet and then move in, I suggest we use Arbiters for cover and cloaking abilities, and then use cariers and their intercepters inorder to break the turrets and even the power links themselves"

"Also, the paramiter is very well kept, if we are to lose are Arbiters before they can get close enough to recall are main force of Carriers, then we will be at a great disadvantage"

"That is why" Tarteris spoke, "I have brought a very good man to help us" he motioned for the door to open, and as it did a man walked in, "This is a expert of Arbiters, he should beable to increase their psyonic out-put inorder to generate a more powerfull and great cloaking field"

"Excellent!" spoke Tassader, "This is excallent, we have a stead fast plan!" Zeratul held out his hand, "No, we need much more planing, this is only the Space combat, the surface of Jarh is a infested planet with a large number of forces"

"Indeed that is correct" Fenix then enlarge a part of the planet, this" he pointed to the part, "is the main stay of the Terran forces, and this" he pointed to a swampish area "this is the main stay of the Zerg forces, we will need at least the enitre fleet from Auir, and then fleet that is currently at the front"

"We will also need the ground forces from Yoshimoto, that will be sufficent, for are forces, now we need commanders, I say that Tassader control the Air Units, Tarteris and I will control the Protoss ground units, and you Zeratul will control as many dark Templar as you can"

"That is very good, but for now we need rest, tomorrow we will laucnh are fleets, but first we need them readied, send word as soon as you can"

"Agreed" they all shook hands and parted for bed.

Re: Starcraft: The Reclaimation of Auir

[Question Jan 24th, 03:17 GMT ]
So now I stand on the brink. About to partake in the greatest galatic war ever concieved. The outcome will determine the fate of the galaxy and perhaps the entire universe. I understand that this is what I wanted but I have the feeling that I and my comrads are being used as pawns. I wanted the destruction of the protoss and do not regret allying with the zerg to achieve this end but I have now seen and parttaken in the destruction of my fellow terrans. Their only fault was being in the way. The Overmind knew that there were other ways, he could have taken another path to avoid the terran worlds, at times he even detoured the swarm into the most heavily populated planets seemingly only to kill more of my brothers. Well techincally I am nolonger terran, neither am I a zerg. I am an outcast, an experiment of the Overmind who has now seen it fit to use my body but remove the control of my mind. Initially I found it fun to kill and slaughter millions of terrans, I convinced myself that this was the only way to get revenge and clear the path to Auir, but doubts developed and this was my undoing. The Overmind realized that I was becoming hesitant to proceed with the slaughter and so I became an observer within my own body watching myself act with no control.

Well, I only hope I made the correct choice. I have touched the conciousness of the Overmind and bearly am able to grasp the totality of the size of the swarm. The protoss are reportedly a mighty race but from my understanding even if ever living protoss was able to kill 100 zergs there would still be ten times as many to replace them. That is the secret of the swarm, it is not in overwhelming power of any individual unit, it is solely in their numbers. They will keep coming, coming and coming until even the most comphrensive defense crumbles under the weight of their constant and endless onslaught. And now the entire legion will be unleashed on Auir.

Tarteris stood alone by a cold window, dawn was coming soon, he hadn't slept has he hoped his other commanders had, he had sent messages, transports, everything need to go and fetch men that would procced the Invasoin of Jarh.

Tarteris sighed, and began to speak for himself, he held out his hand he he began to count, "we have secured the ground forces from Yoshimoto, the fleet from Auir waits for the call to march, and the Arbiters have been upgraded"

"As well have the carriers already been filled with men and intercepters, and we have scouts read to go at the call"

He sighed again, ::I may not survive this confrontation:: he thought to himself, ::if that happens, then I will die an honorable death!::

"Commander" a small man walked into the room where Tarteris was, "The Forces are ready to go, and the Ground Forces have arrived, they are filtering into the transports now"

"Good" spoke Tarteris, "I have a last minute request, have one third of the High Templars under are command merge into Archons, we need Heavy Assualt troops that are capable"

"Yes sir, I will have them do so immdatily, also sir, we were give a Batallion of Reavers, they will laucnh there scarabs and when they become under attack, release there energies, into the zerg around them killing them"

"Really?!" Tarteris stared at him, "I thought the Reaver's were under the Command of the Conclave and the Defense of Auir?"

"They are, and are still, but your order was the fleet from Auir, sir"

"You are dismissed" spoke Tarteris as he stared out the window, not twenty minutes later saw a section of Templar's start to merge, and then a half-and hour later, finish. "Good" he spoke to himself.

///-----||| Later, as the Forces of the Protoss Mass in the Space before the Defense Paramiter of Jarh |||----///

The Transports waited in the back, as Tassadar and Artanis, as well as other Templar's from the other Protoss worlds sweep the fleet like Drill Sarg's putting everything into place.

"Artanis, The Center is Secure" spoke Tassadar, "Good Tassadar, the Left is secure" spoke Artanis, "Good Show lads, the Right is secure" spoke Sophrin from another Fleet.

"Then we are ready, call the Arbiters, tell them to activate their Cloaking Machinzems and move in, tell them to hit as many cuplinks as they can"

"Speak up Cerebrate Qeskas. What is it that causes you to disturb me."

"Oh Great Overmind. Our acursed enemy the protoss are attacking en mass. I will be unable to hold onto planet Jahr. Furthermore I sence dark energies once again the same energy that killed my Cerebrate brothers before. I fear for my life and request re-enforcements."

"Qeskas, you do understand that even though I have hundreds of billions of children I care for the well being of each and every one of them right?"

"Yes, Overmind yes."

"Then why do you worry. Even if you were to die today do you think that my thoughts are not with you and what I do is done for the benefit of the swarm?"

"Oh yes great overmind you are superemely wise and all knowing."

"Then why do you bother me with your enevitable demise. Do you not"

"But, my lord, what about"

"Qeskas, this is the first time in a thousand years that you have ever interupted me. Had you shown spunk earlier perhaps another cerebrate would be in your position. You are weak and always are the first to recall the brood under you control. As such I saw it fit to vouleenter you for this mission. Today, for the first time in far too long you will serve your purpose. You will carry out your mission. You will die, and that's an order."

"But sir, I thought we were moving onto Auir within days."

"You are correct. We are on our approach to Auir as we speak and the majority of the Protoss air forces are on their way to see to your termination. I wish I could say you will be missed but I am currently in the process of removing any trace of your genetic material from the swarm. Weak, and cowardice are not trates to be remembered. Re: Starcraft: The Reclaimation of Auir

[Heaven Bound Jan 31st, 21:03 GMT ]
The Arbiters were in postion, there self-cloaking upgrades as well as there sheild cloaking for their allies were set and atleast one hundred thousand or so protoss men waited for the first shot, they could see the zerg hydralisks moving about, and then terrans that were taken in the swarm, space-suits on to protect from the vaccum of space.

Over the comunication link, Artanis, Sophrin, and Tassadar spoke at the same time, "Fire" as they did the Arbiters unleashed a volley of super-heated energy at the unsuspecting zerg and terran alike. It was odd, before the blast, it was deathly quiet as the energies of the Arbiters powered up.

Then as they released, the Zerg sensed, something, the terran were busy working, they never saw it. then all hell broke loose. The Arbiters each damaged a power cup-link almost entirely before the Carriers released there Intercepters.

Streams of voice shot over the communication link.
"I want Sharg to spear-head the attack MOVE MOVE MOVE" spoke on Arbiter, another said,
"We have been noticed, send them in NOW!" and soon enough the Space battle at taken place, a few Arbiters fell and as they did parts of the fleet were exposed, but soon enough, the front had fallen with only a 1000 or so deaths.

They then moved to remove the rest, and as they did, the transports, covered by arbiter's and Scounts covering fire they made there way to the planets serface.

[ and now I continue]

"Remember your Order! Remember your fighting to free your brothers! Remember the Death of the Swarm! GIVE NO QUARTER TO THE FALLEN, SPARE NO ZERG, for MERCY YOU WILL NOT RECIEVE" all along the transports things like this were being said.

The Zealots were powering up there Psy Blades, and the Dragoon's were readying there anti-matter cannons. The Reavers, which were alone on sperate transports were contruciting there sacarbs, The High Templars were focusing in order to channel there powers more freely.

Thge Archons were joking with each other, they were the heavy assualt troops, they had to real fear. They would spearhead the advance on the ground towards the swarms.

However, the zerg and terran alike were now well aware of the protoss present. And now they were scarmbling inorder to ready their full defenses. The Terrans powered up there Missle Turrets.

The Protoss transports were landing now, then protoss troops filed out and then shot to there respective places, Zeratul and Tarteris were landing as well, they were landing on sperate parts of the planet, and were going to meet in the center, Zeratul would remove the cerebrate and then this swarm would fall.

As the troops filed out, the Zerg came at them like a flood, they were charging them headstrong, so suddenly that a few of the transports were killed by the hydralisks alone. but soon enough the Arbiters that had made it through the Defense Paramiter were concealing the ground forces, there was not that many of them but there was enough to have the majority covered.

Then the Terrans came, or better to say, the Infessted Terrans' came, they exploded on expact with anything, Zerg or Terran and they unleashed devestating acid and particles that ate away both Protoss and Zerg armor and carpace.

The Archons gave out there Hell-Cry and charged, the zerg, who had never known fear were caught, for a split second in fear of this psionic enity but were soon charging again. They Archon's releashed there attacks and zergling and hydralisk blood covered the ground.

"KILL THEM ALL!" hollared a Protoss Zealot as he charged head-long with a group of Archon's and other Zealots.

Finally the Reaver's were in position with a entire division of Dragoon's covering them. The Reaver's scarbs easily killed hundreds of zerg and enemy terran alike.

"Qeskas, Qeskas, this is Malfurion." I understand that you are under attack and in need of assistance. I and my fellow terrerg can offer you some help. We have been monitering your conversation, there are a few cerebrates willing to send over reinforcements just say the word."

"Malfurion, never had I expected to be saved by a terran. While under attack by the protoss."

"Qeskas, if you ever call me a terran again I will kill you, when you are reborn I will kill you again, then for the next one hundred years I will repeateadly end you life. I am nolonger one of that vile race, what exactly I am I have yet to decide but I am no longer a terran."

"My apologies then great Malfurion, you aid will be much appretiated."

At that moment the terrerg as they have come to all themselves used the nydus canals to appear all throughout Jarh. The zerg were fighting with the insane selfless disregard for survival they have come to be known. The only importance was victory for the swarm. Even with this, they were losing on almost all fronts. Qeskas was truely an inferior cerebrate and so produced inferior zerg. That plus they merely outnumbered the protoss 4-1. Such a small numerical advantage was unheard of in the history of the zerg tactics. The tactic was always the same, send wave after wave of zerg until the enemies defences finally fall.

With the arival of the terrerg armada the protoss were at first caught off guard.

***nuclear launch detected***

The protoss were perplexed, their instruments must be faulty how could a nuke be launched in the middle of the battle. There were no terran hold outs anywhere near the major battles, all the intellegence on the few suriving terran said they were as far from where the battles were to take place. As a precaution the observers were ordered to look for ghosts in the area. One was spotted, then two, then they were all over the place, the instruments were not wrong nukes were truely headed for the protoss fleet.

***Retreat Retreat***
This was an extremely unused word in the protoss language as retreat was not expected in battle. Either way the protoss was nothing if not obedient to their commanding officers and so the temporary retreat to the dropships was underway. At that point massive lock downs were done, entire platoons were frozen well in the range of the incoming nukes. As a last attempt the Arbirers recalled much of the protoss attacking force, but far too many good souls were lost. The protoss were left to comtemplate the temporary setback and to wonder why terrans were fighting along side with the zerg especially with such effectiveness.

<Question Feb 11th, 17:18 GMT >
If any reads the Reclaimation of Auir and believes it is worth saving please let me know. I've got work to do and the one other contributor has lost interest. Post in the OOC/Sign up thread if you do read it and would like to see it continued.

Otherwise if they both fall unto the second page of Roleplay it will die an unended story...

I'll probably group the comments together and keep posting at a rate of about twice a week.

Wow.  Whats going on Question, kinda glad you saved all of this, as I did as well.

"It is not possible!!!" The protoss comander Zar'Ka luth spoke, commander of the Arbiter and half of the Carriers on the assualt of Jarh.

"HOW and the HELL did they launch nuclear weapons on are men! We lost the ENTIRE left advanced, THE ENTIRE THING!" the commander was yelling at the men that were left through an intercom, that was two way.

"Sir! We are unsure!" began a Zealot but was soon silenced by a templar be side him. "Do not speak to the commander like this" the templar warned him.

"Well you better find out! We lost around Two-Thousand men! TWO THOUSAND of your comrades, and BROTHERS!"

"Sir!" began another Zealot, a long scar stretched from his left shoulder down to his fore-arm on his right side, "I cannot say how they were able to detonate such weaponry on us! But, we were unable to detect the Terran's 'ghosts' and beside their was mass slaughter!"

"We had observsers placed throughout the battle the Left Advance was completly covered, if not where were they!" hollared the commander

"They were...." the Zealot stopped, "We don't know sir, we only saw
observers covering ujs in the air but..." he stopped he heard a loud siren
going off. An voice came over there minds, the Lead Templar was
communicating with them:

|| All Units report back to your drop-ships, they have start
reconstruction on the Defense paramiter and we cannot have to fight them
again in space, repeat, report to drop-ships for immedite invasion of Jarh
||

The voice went away and then the people hurridly went to their correct
places, they loaded up and were ready to go, and then they departed. The
Commander was suiting up and was ready in his drop-ship.

"And this time, make sure we have the damn Observers, or else, someone will be publicly disemboweled!" and with that, he readied his plasma sword, and filed in with the troops.

The door closed, and the energy of their own plasma shields un-nerved them, they were ready this time. They were going to kill the planet, Tarteris had agreed, the planet wouljd be gutted.

[OOC: more when I can think, I have to go, oh and go a head and post Question, if you want to]

[Question Feb 20th, 22:21 GMT ]
"Your efforts have saved me Malfurion."

"Not exactly Qeskas, nothing comes for free. The protoss are known to hold reserve soldiers just incase the enemy is stronger than they at first appear. I intend to get those reserves into the battle, at that point the Overmind will commence the attack on Auir. Your destruction will be assured but you will have served the swarm far better in your death than you ever had in life."

"But Malfurion, I can help you, the Overmind will soon run out of use for you Terran ah Terrzerg. At that point we Cerebrates can come to your aid and finally overthrow the Overmind."

"You speak the truth, and I have already positioned myself for that eventuallity. Roughly a quarter of the Cerebrates are already convinced that when this happens the correct side to be on is mine. The others will fall in line once they realiize that the Overmind will never manage to leave Auir."

"But Malfurion, the Overmind, he is eternal."

"My juvinile Qeskas, eternity doesn't last forever."
