Yeah, true. I rarely ever went to St.Paul, but I sure as hell met some people from Minneapolis. I drove down there awhile ago for a party, and the people were still creepy. There were also Obama signs everywhere. One building had 5 Obama signs on just one window, lol.

But hey, Minnesota has historically been highly influenced by its Swedish immigrant population. Our culture is also very similar to Scandinavia. Compared to the rest of the US, we are more cooperative and less sociable (it's ok to be an introvert here), and we're very hard working. That and we love our meatballs!

I live in the north metro area suburbs.  Anoka specifically if you know where that is .  ya northern minnesota has a heavy scandinavian influence, but the rest of the state like the southwestern plains or the metro area it isnt as noticeable.

like you said justian the only reason that Minnesota has been a blue state sense 1972 is because of the people in the twin cities.  the rest of the state is mostly conservative.  it seems quite unfair.

Yes and no.  I don't believe there is any law in Canada against offering sex for money, however it is illegal to pay money for sex.  So it's ok to sell but if you buy you go to jail.

That's Sweden. In Canada it's legal as long as its not publicly advertised, among other conditions like no pimping.

This means that street and brothel prostitution are illegal, but call girl prostitution is legal. So would offering the transaction is private.

It's one thing to be a Liberal, and people who have seen my posts can infer that I have many non-conservative views. However, these people who are protesting are mostly poor Americans, with an underdeveloped intellect, who are spewing silly nonsense and causing disorder. They are spreading words like racism and oppression around while fully misrepresenting them. They are the non-intellectual, unwashed, and die-hard liberal camp of the "hip hop generation" who love to postulate entitlements and rights without any intellectual basis. I do not have a problem with liberals themselves, but it's the far left nutjobs (who are frequently from the lower-echelons of American society) and hip hop generation who infuriate me and create a feeling of elitism and a desire for anti-working class authoritarianism in America.

What you are seeing on my part is not anti-liberalism, it's classism. And middle class Americans (such as myself) frequently hate and segregate from various sections of the working class.

PS: Working class is defined as an annual household income of < $20,000 by working full time and if the person is over the age of 25. The nature of the work also tends to be in manual labor or the service industry, and frequently there is much supervision from management. There is a correlation between being a member of the working class and being a member of the hip hop generation. Not all working class people are bad. But the hip hop generation is full of nut jobs with a disposition to be far left. They value anti intellectualism, instant gratification, ignorance, and conspicuous stupidity. Then when they are stuck in the working class or are impoverished, they demand entitlements and more money from the middle class. And really, we're tired of them. We want them to stfu. If they're poor because they didn't seize opportunities to move up to the middle class, then it's there fault and we owe them nothing.
