The egg itself isn't the biggest issue, the ego-busting of the original victim (the one being egged) isn't the issue, what is the issue is:

1)  the life-threatening aspect of an egg thrown at a fast moving vehicle (or fast enough to not see what's around the driver's vehicle)
2)  the lack of respect of the egg(s)-thrower(s)

You can't be an idiot for having a different view on morality. It's something that can't be tested by our intellectual faculties, and neither can "grown up" be in the context you gave it.

For example, I think it's just fine that Henry Kissinger was a ruthless prick. I'm a goal-orientated person. However, most people would find his actions morally objectionable, despite Kissinger's exceptional intellect.

Sorry if anyone was like personally offended because a similar thing happened to someone they knew or whatever. I really do hope they catch the guy that did this and put him away forever.. or give him the death sentence, whichever is the maximum punishment out there.

If something quickly covers your view while driving, and something you didn't see (or now can't see) is in the way for you to drive safely, then the speed at which you drive is irrelevant, except that the faster you drive the more devastating the impact.

The moral of the story is even criminals do not like being criminalized.

Crime is crime regardless if it is supposed to be a prank, or if it is supposed to hurt someone.

Eggs can damage the paint if the person is on their day off. It is not just 'that easy to fix'.

We all do similar things when we're in our puberty..... I know I'd have been shot at least 20 times if that's justified..

DEFENDING someone who shot someone in the head is equally as wrong as DEFENDING someone who vandalizes private property.
