Topic: What if somebody introduced LOTR as a D&D campaign?

This is not really roleplaying, it is a DM's comic about DM'ng and RPing, with visuals from LOTR.

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.

There's also Darths and Droids, which is Star Wars Episode One as a D&D campaign.  http://darthsanddroids.net/
Both of them are very funny, though.  They are also comics about reoleplaying, so I guess it makes as much sense to go here as anywhere else.

You didn't read Neo Variety Hour, so they killed me.  But even death can not stop my awful, awful posts.

'Unforgotten Realms' is a great funny series of cartoons making fun of D&D (if I could find the link I'd post it)

Re: What if somebody introduced LOTR as a D&D campaign?

best idea was makign the player take a dismount roll to jump to safety

which he failed, meaning he failed to fall off a horse

yeah big_smile

Not many people know this, but I own the first radio in Springfield. Not much on the air then, just Edison reciting the alphabet over and over. "A" he'd say; then "B." "C" would usually follow...
