Just respect smaller fams cores.  That's all that's necessary to keep players in the game.  Fighting for planets / systems outside their core is fun for new players.  But big fams that laser trap and portal inside small fams' cores just ruins the game.

I think there should be a small number of core systems equal in number for each family (maybe for Capricorn something like 20 systems would be fine) that are considered as a family's core, galactic overseer protected territory and can't be explored into or attacked by anyone other than the family whose home system is within it, and that family's allies.

whats with pw now, make a core nap with a fam , then they are bigger then you so they think they have the right to infiltrate yoru core and say we're bigger we need more room

either that or you get farmed immediately?

i find all naps pretty useless without a power to enforce them.
there should be some sort of a power that attacks naps breakers ( antarians teleporting from another galaxy etc...)

I agree with Bender.. A fam that knowingly breaks a NAP should be taken care of by the other players in the game.. It could be posted here in the Uni News, and other families should do what they can to make the offender pay for his insolence.

48hours nap is a good idea if you have any hopes of doing something the rest of the round.

even if you are in mid ranked fam you can save and cancel on the bigger fam. or the forunes may turn and the larger fam might all the sudden find itself mid ranked and you can have a mid ranked vs mid ranked war... or if the mid ranked fam is actually a good fam it may grow to be a top fam...

so if you still have hopes for the round, go for a none pnap... and leave the option for conflict later open.

i took into account the opportunity cost between choosing to make my own resources, and choosing to buy my resourses, the opportunity cost was to great and decided to create my own resources.

never thought i would have to quote anything from my economics degree in a ic forum, doesnlt matter that my post is complete bs, just had to post sumin off the top of my head.

if i get bored later, i may even try to link econometrics and IC together (thinks of link so i can use words like heteroskedasticity and multicollinerity in a IC forum )
