There's a decent chinese restaurant in the City2 ![]()

You're a dutchie, biefstukfriet, so I won't bother pointing out the finer things. But if you walk along the Zavel/ Sablon neighbourhood (known as 'Antique Row' cause of all the furniture and antique shops), there's good places in abundance. Stroll along the Hoogstraat / Rue Haute and neighbouring streets and pick one, and afterwards you can party at the Havana's. Wear light clothing though, they heat the place up to sell more booze, but it owns.
edit; How to get there? Take metro to Louisa, walk towards Palace of Justice, take the scenic elevator down, and you're there.
The small square you exit the elevator on is called Rue d'ep
Sweet, thanks! I'll be sure to check it all out. ![]()
And hey I'm cultured! I visit musea, read arty farty magazines and draw Art Nouveau masterpieces on bierviltjes, I speak fluent English and my German is pretty decent as well!
It's just that I can't-stand-ze-french-languagedrivel! ![]()
Maybe go to Luxembourg, that city is awesome.
Wow zoz!
The names! the ambience! The location!
you told us everything but WHAT THEY GOT TO EAT
He left the adventure of finding that perfect restaurant to me, the big Hunt is about to begin!

Oh yes, the Hoogstraat would make a fine choice too!
Chicken AND waffles?!
Weird combo, is it any good?
Yummy
That sounds like unhealthy times four ![]()
There's a place in the Hoogstraat were they do everything with pancakes (salty or sweet ones, but the thin variety, not the truckwheel variety they have in the US). That was rather interesting. I had a pancake curry there, no room left for dessert, but good.
If you come from the rue d'ep
Yell; I live in Brussels, and when people come to visit, I try to make them see there's more than just a pissing boy, an oversized model of an iron atom and a box of chocolates ![]()
my town is historic too...but the food is OK. there's a 4 star hotel downtown iwth a steakhouse if you want a $100 steak, but I get by on Applebees
btw how much does it cost to set up a corporation in Brussels?
Supposing you don't want personal liability and supposing you're using a construction in belgian law: the smallest thing we got here is basicly a one man ltd. company. Capital you have to cough up within the year to set it up is about 12.400 euros now. Add 2-3k for administration, notary, etc. If you're a 2 or more ltd company it's only 6.4k euros. Higher price for the one man ltd is to counter the frequent fraudulent setup of it.
But you could always go for a ltd. according to english law as well, then it costs way less to set up (1.200 euros plus a couple of hundred for formalities), but the tax regime is lots harsher. And I'm not too sure about the amount of protection it currently enjoys under belgian law, which isn't always compliant / up to date with the well inteded European directives. ![]()
Oh, indeed. I love Brussels.. The "Vossenplein" with its fleamarket, the grand place, the music shops on the Anspach, the St. Hubertgallery, the cathedral.. It's odd that few Belgians actually go there regularly and really know the city. But, I'm guessing that's only true for the Flemish..
If they would have proper signs so you'd know how to get out of there, I wouldn't mind it so much.
i have to be in brussels today brrr
in and out!
Manneke pils!
:-d
6400 - 12000 Euro??? That's INSANE!!

paperwork forms are FREE, state filing fee is $70 nonrefundable
Then again, Brussels is the European hotspot of the 21st century, while california is just another attraction pole competing against other cities in a country that's suffering heavily from an economic crisis.
"attraction poles"??? we're frickin ground zero in the final Battle for the Planet of the Apes
Ah, you mean pure administration costs? The 12000 euro is the minimum capital you have to provide to back the entity up.
Set up costs, including notary fee, registration, publication, will be around 700 euros.
I don't think there's any asset requirement in my state...
