okay well basically what i wanted to say, in a much compressed version:

also note: right now the gap between #6 and #11 is very close.  I have not included just top 10, but those families which i believe will, in the end, fit those categories.

631: good family, great position - so far bankers have done quite well - because of alliances they shuld really be quiet all thruout the round.  ~Contenders FTW~

623: great economy, they seem to have the best bankers in PW right now.  good alliance as well but will have to bump into 625 sooner or later, and this will hinder their growth.  I expect them to take #1 within a few days but will eventually lose it due to the war.  ~Contenders for top 5~

632: Interesting mix of bankers and attackers, Fuzz,Venom,flipmode these are all players who can hold a family on their own.  A much better position as opposed to their allies they have an easy enterance to farming 620 & S4.  If they keep up the good work they hve a very good chance for this round.  ~Contenders FTW~

615: A very strong attacking lineup, they have surprised me with such a powerful start in expo phase - a powerful bunch of people who can hold their own - seany, dweeb, stag the family have, argueably, the best attacking lineup in PW.  I however do not expect them to hold onto this for much longer as the 29/16 tri will be venturing in their direction(imo).  ~Contenders for top 10~

625: They've surprised us all!  Being in the top 5 for a while the family doesn't seem to have a well-known banking force and alot depends on the performance of Ilfrin in this role.  In attack papdawg,Lamda, Galactica are a potent force but with YDF showing signs of inactivity you can tell that this swansong wont last long, once the 23/24/32 tri start hitting them there is very little they will be able to do. ~Pretenders for top 10~

619: A good alliance and a surpringly decent start from this family has ensured that within a week of the round they are in a good position.  Obiviously i expect them to be wary of S3 and go directly to the centre of S4.  in DD and toadsies they seem to have a good economy brewing  but alot will depend on the performance of their attackers - while Pickle can work things his way a one man attacking unit wont suffice.  ~Contenders for top 10~

616: Their alliance with 619 has meant that they have been able to explore safe in the knowledge that their backdoor is secure.  Too bad i dont know anyone in this family apart from Sumana but so far they are doing alrite.  Sooner or later they will start some ping-pong with 622 and how they respond to this will be very interesting . ~Contenders for top 10~

628: They have been very lucky with their positioning as well as their allies.  They have a weak banking force, imo, if you leave out Cumsville.  That is not the same about their attacking force - and without a doubt i would say that is the strongest attacking force in PW atm - Juz, white lightening, foohoon frank and their newest addition of Ender assures that this family can pack one hell of a punch.  Too bad noone will be contesting them in S3 - so i would imagine their attackers to get a nice spread and do some dammage - all in all a quiet round for them.  ~Contenders for top 5~

624: Very much like their allies 623 this family is being led by Funeral.  Banking support from Funeral and Humidity shuld make sure that the family has enough cash to share but i do have slight doubts concenring their attacking play.  None the less their position will again make sure that nothing deviates too far.  ~Contenders for top 10~

627: I think this family has got plenty of potential and are just beginning to show it.  A comparatively slow start has hurt them abit.  RIcking & RedLink will ensure that they are not out of the fight yet .  Their position also means that they have ample space to explore, and i bet my balls they will stay in S1.  ~Contenders for top 5~

622: They had to be there.  Selur's family has not performed as good as expected and within their tri i believe they will have to do more warring etc than anyone else.  They will have to be careful of the threat from the 616 tri and if they do so it shuld be fine.  ~Contenders for top 10~

618: I had to .  My family, we had a decent start but haven't been able to create anything commendable out of it.  Just beginning to show signs of progress and revival the family has a very good mix of players - aote,shadow,karnivor and many others are all vets of the game.  An awkward position with no allies yet it will be interesting how this family does, politically as well as offensively.  ~Pretenders for top 10~

Nice update, but 629 is in trouble itself, #615 is in its cores so they wont get them into to big trouble and #616 is pretty far and has a less strong attacking line-up.
