to be fair, im really glad stryker quit..... hes an annoying whinging bastard.

i was really glad when i saw he quit.

he seemed a very poor player as well - did very little and took ages to get there.  hes in 587 now.

the rest... didnt really deal with them.

thats not quite the same cos he doesnt get built up by the rest of the fam.

but Big Gary needs to be put here. He was in 552 in SD who were possibly contending for the win (2nd in nw/size i believe), and after being built up to 300+ planets by my gd friend Iggo, he deleted for no reason at all.

It's better to play in a small fam where you can actually do something, then play in a top fam just to sit idle because no one can really hurt you and you don't have a challenging target. In top fams you just wait for the big clash and that turns out to be disappointing most of the time. Most of the time no real battles as one side gains a significant advantage very soon and then it's farming.
in small fams it is never boring as a possible threat is always out there. Stupid big fams try to farm you while you try to fight a nice target yourself. you need good tactics then to compensate the lack of gc and resources.

I actually agree that being number 1sucks

stryker deleting hasnt ruined our round - its improved mine considerably.

ne fam with proton in argues with itself more than others. you shoulda seen the irc channel of 560 in sd this round. proton would kick and ban ne fam member who didnt agree with him.

in my opinion proton is the worst player in this game to have in your family. far worse than bara. bara is at least ss and doesnt generally impose himself on the rest of the fam, but proton makes ppl work with him and then insults them when he himself [spoon] up and deletes when ppl have had enough. imagine that one round when baratheon killed off his leader, and demanded everyone else send him their res and planets otherwise he would kill them off, but for proton imagine that happening every round

btw, although what arch says is very true (but then ive been the worst player to have in your fam since around round 2)... it should be pointed out that he may be biased, since I have been raiding his bankers pretty much constantly this round just for the hell of it.

i had my reasons for leaving and they included the fact that the fam was not fun to be in... i didnt enjoy the entire fam argueing and nobody wanting to do the little things to make the fam better... lol and proton say what you wish about me your so opinionated that your opinion means nothing... and to Knot it was the fam mentality and the argueing and fighting with eachother and such that made it no fun whatsoever for me i didnt wanna be a part of it o and about this work you put into me i wish i had noticed it cause all you did was point out stuff to me i already knew like i had never played the game before.. o and about my annoyance to you proton lol if you would respond the first time to things and not be a bitch about them then i wouldnt have to be annoying about stuff... yall can say what you wish about me deleting but when it comes down to it i wasnt going to have any fun in that fam so i left all there is to it...
