and to answer that question, it's basically people who hate obama, i don't know why they hate him
and Newb that was not directed at you, this statement has been surfacing the internet for a long time, and has gotten a lot of support from people who hate obama and can not stand to see someone like Obama become president....i'm not gunna say it's because of race but I have trouble finding something else in him that could cause so much hate...

Though I do hate some controversial views from each of them. Mind you, people hate that of me too. Plus some people hate me.

That's against the rules, as is repeating yourself 4x to annoy people and flaming and demanding mods explain thigns.
This thread was reopened by mods who want 1 thread for all the Biblical, revelations/millenarian hoodoo that's out there. If you think it politically significant that the Mayan calendars ended in 2012 then post it here.

No thanks, I'm not interested in reading several thousands of pages of indoctrinating ahistorical stories (although, it's well-written) to find a few references to an event that won't happen. I'd like some clear references instead please (in scientific papers articles and so on, you'd have to refer to pages )

I decided to at least give you a tiny bit of courtesy by extending out my hand of help, and encouraging you to go the rest of the way on your own. Though I knew full well that you would do neither.
You might accuse Christians of being close-minded but so are you.
I am not. It's juest that you can't really expect me to go and read the entire bible for some references to the antichrist only to continue this discussion. All I want are references, wich you, as a bible reader, can easily dig up. This is only the way things go in a proper discussion. For example, in my paper I made about 70 references to scientific works of any kind, and later today I have to go and justify every single one of them.
I was raised a catholic, although I was never really an ardent believer. After reading some philosophical works (a summary of Schopenhauer and Nietsche on recommendation of a friend), when I was 14 - 15ish I saw my reasons for not feeling religious justified. I've been influenced by both, I think little religious people can claim the same thing.
