Topic: Beauty contest MISS NUN 2008

An intalian priest is about to launche a beauty contest for catholic sisters. You can vote online.

"Not all sisters are old" the old priest said, some of there are young and especially the ones from "Afrika and latin america are very beautifull.

He also adds: "nuns are women in the first place" and beauty is a gift from god. Next to that there is also the beauty of heart and sool, not only body. (while he said body, he vibrated a little, but could have been the wind.)

and I think a certain priest is headed for a nursing home chaplaincy.

One priest in my diocese kept giving sermons about what the bishop oughta do.  He was transferred to a desert parish.  Quite small, had no church at that time.  He had to commute around to see everybody in a 4wheel drive truck.  50C 8 months of the year.

thx for the links newb... both of them.

all in all I expected more reactions from catholics on this forum. I would think such things would offend a lot of them, esp the hardliners. Or do I see it all wrong?

I expect the contest will be held in good taste, will not have cheaters, will be presentable.

Think of an Amish beauty contest... and then tone it down a little.
