I fail to see the irony.

That is John Edwards, a former Democratic candidate.

He just recently admitted to having an affair, and is at the Father of the Year award, obvious irony.

On the other hand, who gives a [carbon emission]? He's not even in the race anymore.

He had an affair so what?  Cheating on your wife makes you a bad HUSBAND not necessarily a bad FATHER.  Had he been receiving an award for Husband of the Year, irony, as it stands, it's just someone trying to discredit the democrats by illustrating that one of their party members isn't perfect.  What was ironic was that incident with Larry Craig, think that's his name, dude in the stall with the cop.

A democrat does something and the world tries to yawn. This guy got Father of the Year and yet he has fathered a baby and tries to deny he is the father. He keeps saying he is willing to take any paternity tests, yet he has not (This is a nice double blind statement btw, he keeps preaching he will but never does, and no one in the media will call him on it since he is a Democrat)

In fact many credit Edwards for flipping the odds in Obamas favor... without Edwards endorsement many felt at that time Hillary would have gone on to the White House.

YES. with penicillin.  Althoughif Bubba took penicillin he'd probably melt like the Wicked Witch of the West. "Oh what a world what a world! Hi Honey! aarrrghh!"

John Edwards was called on this by the National Enquirer in December.  Edwards said "It's a lie I love my wife who has lethal cancer you sick bastards."  So that pissed off the National Enquirer.  So they followed his honey around.  And last month they caught her in a hotel room registered to an Edwards staffer, and Edwards met her at 11pm and left at 2am for the basement. And in the basement were National Enquirer reporters and they chased him into a bathroom.

Well the idiot still denied it, siad "you have no photos, it's a lie."  So then they got photos of Edwards tossing the baby in the hotel room.  THEN he admitted it.  And his wife came out and said "Yeah I knew about it in 2006, but it's been tough" so she lied too.

He's not going to be nominated but he was going to speak at the convention and was buckign for Atty General under Obama.

It's funny how Clinton got almost impeached over a blowjob, while Bush gets away with blatant lying to the american people about WMDs and getting them into a war (Colin Powell admitted that)
