Like all games, empires and such have a golden age and subsequent declining and eventually fade away.  IC is loosing players there are multiple reasons a lot of our former base don't have time with families, jobs, and some have found other games.  We have also had problems with farming, honor and accountability with mods. There have been several mergers to consolidate the game.

We are essentially back where we started only with less people.  You can make the argument the game is lost but there is still hope we can merge new galaxy with pw go back to one galaxy and possibly reestablish our base of players.

There is a need for direction active people pushing the game along with moderators to oversee and help it along.  Which leads us to our more recent development. First off with how people are made mods its easier yes but from what we have seen in the past is friends bringing in other friends and most of the time it doesn't work.  We have had problems with inactive and corrupt people which in turn hurts the game. Wont mention past people and their actions but fine thats their choice to do such things but we as a community don't want to be taken down with you.

When the community looses faith in the leaders generally lose faith in the game and deletions aren't far behind. We can neither afford to take this or turn the other way and pretend this is not occurring.

Again we loose more of our more visable and active mods while others remains yes you can say they quit. But what of the reason?  They are not getting paid and are doing it as a favor for all those who play.  If there is limited or no ways to make it better than what is the point of continuing to work for it. Some people choose other things but given the opportunity to do something productive we can get them back.  If we can even get one to talk to stefan about restructuring the mod system even better.

Long story short I am calling for your support yes you people that have played and want to continue playing to ask for the resignation of those who continue to let this game fall to pieces because they have personal agendas or simply don't give a shit.

At the very least i am prepared to make sure those affiliated people will never dare show their faces playing again. Shame on you people.
