Topic: What is the Dutch sport..

I saw on TV the other day a Dutch sport where run, jump on a poll, climb the poll, and see who can land the farthest away. What is this sport called? Any of our Dutch ICers do this sport? How do you not get hurt when you jump off the poll??

The main concept is to cross small streams.. stick the pole in the water, climb up so when you land  you land on dry land and not in the water tongue

but its only done in certain regions of our country, not where I live tongue

edit: I asked him and he says he is indeed from Flevoland (lelystad)
