but IC is playable on my phone guild wars isnt   well ive had a veeerrrry long break from ic so its kinda fresh again, but i can predict even i may lose interest after a while

Ultimately what Imperical Conflict needs is something that noone will do: A total re-working.
The universe, the races, their background stories, the whole game has the potential to become an awesome and popular game IF someone would only give it the work AND backing it needs.

I think it is about time Stefan accepted that he cannot give IC what it needs and let someone else have their turn, but unfortunately that will never happen because Stefan is famously weird about his precious PHP scripts.

Give the game the chance it deserves, give the game the chance you cannot give it, give the game to someone else; After all, you have had plenty of offers and they have all been turned down, and for what?

But yes, the community is part of it.  Although the original poster has a good point.  Some actual story into the game would be nice.  Something to make it feel less like the game we've played over and over again and more like a real, living universe.

Stef though... who knows what he has going on in RL.  But it is obvious that his heart is no longer in this game, which is a shame.  But we shall be thankful that the game is still here and we can all still talk to eachother.  True, our community isn't what it used to be, but at least it's still here.
