So what if it's stolen? Pretty much all countries on Earth are shaped by war and conquest. Get over it, Indians aren't special, stop trying to give white people a guilt complex.
for it to be stolen, it would have to legitimately belong to someone else first. even the native americans themselves would deny ever owning the land, so the US was not stolen.

Utopia never existed, everwhere still had destruction and chaos, what white men did bring to the places of the world that allowed them to, was a much higher standard of living.

Oh do tell me what I don't know I LIVE here. We have our problems (I'm looking at you Quebec) but I'd still say what we have is an improvement over nomadic tribes following buffalo herds with no room for luxuries because all your energy is put into sheer survival.

Japan. But to be honest I think it was a trade off between Japan and the West: We certainly helped improve their country in many ways, but the Japanese have this odd way of being a spiritual/cultural influence even when they're just sitting there.

Arrogant, self centered son of a... Read the thread title, then read your post, and then ask yourself "Is it any wonder that the worlds largest minority, the single white straight male, is getting a little tetchy?
lol ok to be fair about the white man going everywhere causing destruction, that is true, but its also true to the countries that are there in the first place. Africans did sell Africans to the Europeans as well as butcher other neighboring tribes. Asians were enslaving opium whores and slaughtering villages. Hispanics Etc. etc.
But anyhow, a lot of white ppl don't understand how certain cultures feel about the racial barriers and such. I mean, when it comes to black ppl and white ppl, a lot of times, the lack of trust and happiness towards whites comes from recent events. Like a few years back when that group of 5 white guys dragged a black man on the road until his body was dismembered.
And I even recall a recent event with....ummmm, I can't remember. But it was an IC player in chat about 9 months ago telling me how he and his brother went to get guitar hero for his sister. And just for no reason, a group of black guys just started hassling them and talking trash. Just a group of "thugs" looking ot pick on a little white boy as he quoted.
So I get upset when I hear white ppl say "get over it" and "What's the big idea about the N word?" because you can't understand why it hurts and why some things hurt actionwise. I'm not advocating the use of the word in any respect, but don't get jealous because its frowned upon for white ppl to use the word or any other racial epitects, just try to emulate to those who have lived in harder racial times and those who are still experiencing racism to a lesser degree.
And with black ppl, we can't just go around thinking every white person is racist and blaming all of our problems on white men. I mean, while we don't always get born in the best of situations, we can go and seek help and educate ourselves to be productive. And seeking help doesn't mean to leech, seeking help also means not taking more than what's needed. This is the problem that some black ppl (I've witnessed firsthand) do. They put themselves in situations such as early pregancy and try to get food stamps, section 8 housing and welfare. Then take all of that and just... survive...not thrive.
But anyhow, I see a lot of one sidedness in this thread. I'd love to invite some of you guys to my house and hang out and just have this discussion face to face and drive around and see things from a better perspective. I need to stay out of this thread cause I'm running my mouth =p

Last time I checked, Iraqies were white, albeit a bit tanned. Anyways: USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa have benefited greatly by the arrival of the 'White man'. Ofcourse, mostly in the benefit of the Europeans themselves, but hey, it sucked to be a primitive back in those days. That's just how the world worked back then.
Let's also not forget that large parts of Africa went down the shitter only after the Colonialists left.

white people, who came from europe, their ancestors there had it way worse than your ancestors in africa or america.
You seem to be forgetting that 99% of europeans were slaves in their own land for more than a thousand years...
