Whenever you log off for the day. Try sending your cash and resources to another online player or the player that will come on next. It's a great way to keep your family growing.

Geeze, BC Cougar, not everyone knows what you know. Some folks are fresh from Virgo, and barely read the guide. Ya, old timers like you teach em, but only if you have contact.  This random tip thingy will help em learn, if they pay attention. It goes to everyone, mentors or no.

And it gives the rest of us something to read while the tick updates.

I say it is a welcome change. For alotta reasons. For one: it doesnt directly affect game play in any way. Second, it may actually encourage newer players to learn, and want to stay. An, so on.

Finally, I see a fun contest outa this while we await round start: A contest to present the best tips!!!

Eh, each player could offer his best tip, and those judged best would win.

How to judge? we could have a vote like the round awards used for each galaxy, or I guess the mods could do the "decide in private, and refuse to give reasons" thing. Either way, (or some other way) there would be winners.

Suggested prizes for the winners? 1) instant fame: The winner would get  his tip used in the rotation of tips, with his chosen game name attached to it. 2) perhaps tag points? 3) totally extravagant, I know, but the ultimate grand prize winner might get a VIP, (or a shot at a try-out for tutor or fmod, or mod)

And, hey, this is just a suggestion. Idk if it will ever come to pass that we have such a contest, or that any prizes will be offered, or of what type. I just had the idea, and tho I know ideas are supposed to be posted in the idea thread, This one seemed totally on-topic for the discussion, so I posted it here.

i thought that u onley get the market charge if u store resources on the market ???

and is it the same for cash ??

well the guys in 804 done such a good job and dishonoring the game he must be your new idol, and besides the fact that i have plyed the game for a long while and my first game was the last alpha, i am 42yo... not old enough for the senior discount yet, but getting there.
and next round i will have my normal 18 tick a day ability and i will be an attacker so those of you in 804 please try something this round so i can watch you little babies cry.

LOL, you didn't mention the uncalled for attack and the breaking of the 48 hour nap...? i wonder why.
well if i have to work the market myself to get what i need, you better be worried if your even within 20 ticks of my aggravated ass, because i know things you couldn't possibly know about how to play this game, and you will be screwed, as every other dishonorable scumbag should.
like how to get the most effect for opps, how to make other spend more on the market while you make a fortune, how it is easier to draw attacks and spend less, how a banker raid is proporly done to cost the enemy more, how to move DS's to keep people from knowing what to expect, how to make a family member with one planet the most successful opper or wizzie in the game, hoe to stop you from retakes and lose your money for it, how to get your family to turn against you or doubt your knowledge, how to make you sooooo angry that you make stupid mistakes...
and trust  me just let me know where you are and i will come to you, i have faught some of the best, and from a lower NW that you have the balls to.
so yes the proof is in the pudding so to say, so i call your bluff, i am no banker this round so you will have the fight of your life on your hands.

Eh, it is true resources stored on the market decay at the same rate as they do in hand.  The advantage to puttin em on the market, is that you might sell em and get cash.

For cash, it is different.  If you make a rediculously low bid, like .1 or 1 for endo, no one will offer it and take your cash.  Yes, you lose 10% on the initial bid (market fee) but cash does not decay on the market as do res.
If you leave it there ten ticks, you break even. (cash decay in hand is like 1%) The longer you leave unused/unusable cash, the more you benefit.

I understand conflict, and your need to resolve it, but this is not the thread for it.

I am sorry, if I inadvertantly caused it by referring to BC's time ingame.  I was just trying to point out the tips are nice, and good for various reasons. The first being some of us are new to the game, and know little, evey hint/tip helps those.

you are a very honorable person, and as you said you were in my fam last round and everyone acted honorable... but most importantly you speak your mind here also as an honorable person.
so you (even if new) are the people that the game really wants to take over the future of it.
