why do people always have to say its better then it was? it wasnt "amazing" or "awesome" it was a decent film though, and i'd recommend it.

Batman was awesome, maggie whatshername who plays rachel was loads better than katie holmes in 'begins' and heath as the joker...

OMG... the guy was sooooooooo awesome ! 

jack nicolson's joker was a joke, all you could do was laugh at it, but this one. this one was kinda funny in an evil sorta way. he definately should get an oscar.

i saw the movie last sunday and it was one of the best movies i have seen( i dont watch a lot of movies big_smile). I was a batman fan since i was like 4 years old so that might have made me think that too. But judging from others reviews it seems like one of the best movies and definately the best movie of 08.

i think the joker made the movie so great because batman is nothing new. the joker isn't the average criminal in gotham city ( or anywhere for that matter). He has no motives which makes him a much better criminal than one that has motives. he does what he wants because he can. He likes to put people in situations that make them do bad things. he also likes to make chaos in gotham city and they way he does it is rather impressive...

anyway i would recommend you go see this movie even if you arent a batman fan like me. it is definately not another comicbook movie. its much more than that.

Was good but wasn't really amazing.

Heath Ledger's Joker was great though.

best movie ive seen in ages it was the dogs ****** simple brilliant heath ledger made the joker in this film best charcter in the film by far

It's an excellent film, and I'm not a massive fan of Batman, but I felt it was exceptionally good. I'd say like:

8.8/10 is what it should be on IMDB, so like top 30/20...last time I checked it was 9.3, which means it's the best film ever.

I actually logged on and gave it a 1 star rating to lower the avg a little, because it certainly isn't the best film ever.

Heath Ledger fans obviously spammed the thing, and I find it amusing that he was only actually in like 5 films in his whole career, and only 3 of them were real films =P

Don't get me wrong though, it's introduced me to a different side of Batman I've now come to like a lot...even without Tim Burtons black humour.

They've decided they're making it a trilogy...but they've just used THE best villain ever, second only to Venom...so who can they use other than the Riddler (Mr Freeze LOL), but if it's anything like Jim Carrey, I will not be payiny to watch it smile
