To guard the Canadian border is near on impossible. It's length is 5061 kilometers (3145 miles).
This would require, if one guard per 100 meters, and one per shift, and accounting for weekend time as well (but making one of the five part time so he can do some administrative work also) a total of 253,050 border agents.
Considering we just passed 16,000 border patrol agents, and are trying to reach 18,000 border agents, this would represent a significant increase in the numbers of our agents.
Add in the 3830 kilometers (2380 miles) of water border we have with them (Great lakes, offshore locations, etc) and this increases 'just a little'.
Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!
