Topic: I had a spot recerved. Why can't I get in?

Here is the message from my latest attempt:
You are not allowed to join this galaxy. Perhaps you already have an account there, or you are trying to join a second non-free for all galaxy without having a Premium Account.

I know have an account there, I've had a spot reserved in a family since the round started.  But it won't let me in.  It just tells me there is already player with my name there. sad

Hi MorkfraMork,

If you had a spot in MW, the reason you can't join now is because you are late.
If you signed up earlier and 'joined the queue', your place has been released after 24 from opening of the galaxy.

After that moment, everybody was free to join. By now, the galaxy is full.

Hi MorkfraMork, we no longer delete empires (or families) after the rounds end, which is why you're getting that error.  It's not another player with your name, it's your previous empire from the last round that still exists.

We'll fix this eventually, but for the time being you'll have to choose another empire name when you join.

That feature was recently removed due to unexpected abuse.

Why is I had to create a new empire with a new name and leader to get into Milkyway and another one to get into Nova?

the current system is set up so that you have to have a different name for each, reason being so that me and you don't both join the same galaxy as Foo of Bar.
