Topic: Family Morale

It is hard enough fighting larger families short handed but morale limits just adds another headache.  It is impossible for a family of two to compete in a war with a family of 6.  Between ops and retakes the fam of two will always lose and it has nothing to do with skill.  They just simply do not have the morale to do enough retakes/ops that a family with more members can muster. 

In IC, David vs Goliath can never be a reality 220% morale will never be able to compete against 660% morale.


I am suggesting a family pool morale system.  Each family will receive 110% morale for each player slot available in that galaxy.  A fam of two would have the same morale capabilities as a family of 6, or 7, or 8 ect.

Let's bring some balance to the galaxy!

Agreed. Classic morale is only based on player vs player size. This skews morale even more in favore of big fams, since they can afforfd a dedicated low size attacker.

Reason not to do is the same reason we returned to classic morale. It might overpower small fams.

I don't think it will ... I can see individuals in small fams being able to attack a lot more than two individuals in a larger fam ... but if the larger fam wants to concentrate their pool of morale to a couple attackers and an opper, then there is no difference here... nobody is overpowered in terms of morale.

I think it could bring new strategy to the game where fams in war situations have to work together to budget their morale.

Maybe a family pool of 110% morale per player slot is too high.  It is not like every single family member uses all of their morale during war normally.  Perhaps 60%/player slot .... might have to tweak it around to find the sweet spot.
