I've adjusted the voting to ignore empires who haven't logged on in 48 hours.  If you submit a new vote for yourself it will force the recount.  If you're the only active fam member you will win the vote by default.

Let me know if that sorts the issue for you.

The option is still there if anybody wants to be merged into another family, although the placement will be random.  Interested parties can email [email protected] with the request.
