looking at their forums it appears that it will actually be worse than here. It also looks like it is a dying game but one where they don't have an awesome admin like pie who is actively trying to revive the game not suck up as much $$$ before it dies

Kt, Torqez, and I all played it together. It's ok. Nothing great and gets boring after awhile.

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

I played it many moons ago (I think), if it was the game I am thinking of it was ok. A little dry and overly complex.

There are lots of games likes this out there even astroempires is similar to this....it sucks but it is similar. ...

The main issue is after playing ic no other text base game lives up to its name the only one that came close was ectroverse and its long gone

The genre is in a rough spot.

There are lots of games, old and new, but not many that are done particularly well.

^^ Ectroverse is GOAT, free source code available online and there was a round running just the other day until the server died.

Maybe its time for a combination between IC and EV, 30 minute rounds? After starting in IC i truly believe the EV platform is better, it just lacked the player base of IC.

Iv played Ogame on and off for many years not as active as it once was but is still decently active
