Topic: Planet labels/color coding

Would be really sweet if you could color code planets, or label/tag them somehow in the planet screen, and be able to filter on that.
For example, if you have a certain type of building on a few planets, or to tag laser traps, or priority portals or high risk planets etc.

I don't think this is overly complex to make right? Would be very sweet.

Not complex but not simple enough to be a quick addition.  Definitely worth doing though.

A "custom query builder" is on the way that this would work nicely with.  That way you can not only do filters on custom tags, but also save them for 1-click access.

I'll add this to part of that feature.  Good suggestion, thanks.

Re: Planet labels/color coding

Many moons ago there was a field to name the planet.  I think it disappeared when the new version (now the old version) was built.  There was also once a field to label the fleet you sent out.  I bet those fields are still there and just need to be displayed, unless you re used them for something else.

I already like the "custom query builder".

What would be really cool is to divide the pl up into groups.  Like maybe dividing pl into risk of being taken, so I don't overbuild a pl that I know is going to be taken.  Really it's because I'm usually high when i play and I forget.  So if I could label a pl then I might remember.

What would be super super cool is if the program warned me when I was going to build on a pl that I labeled as risky.  There are probably other warning you could set.  But that's probably too much, and it might also be too close to having the computer do the work.
