It's still got some work coming but the basics are there.

If you get multiple msg's you have to go searching for the other ones other than the latest
you need it to highlight the person with unread msg's or something.
Good call. An "unread" counter per-person would be a useful addition.
When messaging someone (not from the 'messages' tab, but by clicking their name and clicking 'send message') you can still enter a subject, but the subject doesn't show up anywhere in the message they receive.
Messaging from the empire page has been updated. The issue described above should no longer be a problem.
