Topic: Multiple Core Systems?

Current playing in SN and trying to attack a player. However, I keep being prevented from sending fleets out with the error message:

"This system has been universally acknowledged to be a core province of family (#38XX). Galactic Law prevents us from attacking this core systems".

I am obviously aware you cannot attack a home system. However, this message is showing on 2 other systems that this player has 100% control of.

Is this a bug, or a rule I do not know of?

Thanks

Re: Multiple Core Systems?

In Supernova a player can get up to 3 core systems, including HS. The other two will become core system after a certain amount (72h) of time.

Unlike in Starburst, you can not attack any planet in these core systems.

Re: Multiple Core Systems?

Thanks Orion. How are the core systems obtained? Do you just need a majority control for a certain amount of time, similar to the requirements for a defense station?

Re: Multiple Core Systems?

You need to control 100% of all planets in that system and keep them for 72 hrs then the system becomes "core"

Note you can only have 3 systems total as core systems, including your home system. So your 2nd and 3rd core systems will be the first 2 systems where you own all planets in those systems. (any further systems you 100% control will not become core)

Thank you for explaining.

Re: Multiple Core Systems?

Note. SB also has core systems but the work different. Starburst cores can be attacked and cost more morale to attack.
