Topic: Star Wars

It only took me decades, but I just recently finally saw the Star Wars movies.

I have to say, the prequels were not as bad as I feared, despite the stupid love scenes.  In fact, I think Episode 3 is my favorite out of the first 7.

I haven't seen rogue one yet, but I'm hearing good things.  Do you guys think the recent films are taking it in a decent direction?

I'm also a fan of 3. There are some moments of bad acting but the overall plot is well constructed and builds well to the final showdown between Anakin and Obi-Wan.

Rogue One is a very good film and far better than 7 IMO. 7 felt like A New Hope in a wig.

I might play this game, but I have more of a life than you

I've always loved the whole 6, 7 is meh but I think it'll all become clear after 8 and 9... Rouge one is great, I can't wait for more spinoffs especially the Han Solo one. smile

3 is my favorite, 1 second fav. Rogue one wasn't as horrid as TFA but wasn't good by any means. I tend to see the saga going downhill and In a hurry sad to say

ROJ had the whole planet cheering Darth Vader

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.
Steve Jobs has ruined this joke.
