One day, the overseer of the galaxy, I_like_pie, was taking a break from his ruling duties in the throne room while taking in the view of his wonderful undertaking-the great galaxy Supernova in the wide span strewn before him. His trusty messenger, @KT, rushed into the room out of breath. She had come from the far side of the galaxy with news that rampant farming of small empires had lately been occurring in galactic systems far and wide in the furthest reaches from emperor pie's iron fist. He grumbled at the news. Turning to his henchmen, pie quickly commanded a battalion armed with ban hammers to take care of the scum in question.

Every child knows the rest of the story. The great war continues to this day disallowing farming of any kind among any but the lowest of the low, but the days of yore still ring fresh in the tales told in the taverns and homes of any planet.

Magical White Wizards have turned all the Hydroponic Farmers against their leaders, causing them to halt production of their food, and early signs seem to point to the Farmers starting a union. The Galactic leader Pie is furious, and made comments about beginning executions of Farmers if such a union is created. This has caused the stoppage of the Food Market. More details to follow...
