There should be a block button on empires so that they cannot message you ingame or in the forums

In hardcore galaxy's that button is called attack.

Nah I'd prefer not to read sol's messages, typically are annoying and ruin my day in one way or another

This is fairly important.  Regardless of the reason, players should be able to opt-out of receiving communications from other parties if they wish.

Chat does this, no reason forums/in-game shouldn't as well.

I can possibly see this working for in-game messages but you shouldn't do this for the forums. It will ruin the fun for the rest of us.

I think he means specifically the forum PM feature, not actual posts.  If so, it shouldn't change anything for most people.

I Felt the same way about Sol last round. Might be easiest to just disable Sol from sending messages?
