Topic: Crush Apple

So Apple gets hit with 8 years of Bush era demands to hand over phones to be raped by Brute Fracking Force decryption using the most powerful computers on earth.

And by total coincidence, develops a phone that cannot be hacked by BFF decryption.

Now some terrorists got one, and used it, and the FBI wants what's on it, and this has libertarians from Rush Limbaugh on down hollering.

Because the FBI went to court, and the court basically agreed: WTF Apple, go crack the phone

This sounds nice except they sell the phone to terrorists.

The State, not the People, can win wars.  When the State determines a product is harmful to the war effort, it should destroy the profit motive through seizure.  This was done to W's grandpappy Prescott Bush. 

The Nazis were ordered to hand their assets to the Wartime Trust Adminsitrator, who frankly didn't give a damn if the Nazis earned a dime, and then after the war they'd get their stuff back. What was left.

So rather than lose money, some Krauts went to Bush and said, YOU hold it, and make money, and get a commission, and then after the war you give it to us.

This was deemed illegal and Bush got stripped of his assets.

In the same way, since we know that terrorists like encrypted phones, we should seize every encrypted phone patent in eminent domain, and crack them forever.  And if the phone companies get nasty, hit them with a RICO lawsuit for inventing an unhackable phone and make them basically pay the government to take their phone away.

It is the State, not the People, who will win the war on terror.  Appeals to the liberty of the People against the warmaking power of the State are appeals to lose the war.

And since Apple has stepped up to be first, I say, slam them.  Rape the largest commercial entity in the United States.  RAPE them.

This exact same argument could be used to confiscate legally owned guns and profits by gun manufacturers that sold guns to people who would end up using those guns to go on shooting sprees like the exact one this case refers to.  Are you sure you want to continue down this rabbit hole?

This is just another power grab by a corrupt government.
  The government has proven  they do not care about the safety  of its own citizens.   The terrorists  are in this country  because  our government let them in.
  The only time the government  does anything is after a terrorist attack,  and even then its to take away more of our freedoms.
  Remember what one of Obama's  top advisors said. Dont let a crisis go to waste.  A Government  that thinks that way is just as likley to create a crisis.

1.  Try buying a radar-sensitive fuse for well, ANYTHING.  The idea that the best tech has to be available in stores dates is 21st century fantasy.  It was understood through the Cold War that the best technology ought to be classified.
2.  There's a specific guarantee of access to firearms.  If there wasn't, yeah they'd be in the crapola.

Rush Limbaugh was trying that on today.  It is a sidestep.  If the terrorists had a false rock in the garden, I want it searched.  We have us here a clue.  It should be cracked.  In fact it shouldn't have been made and sold in the first place, which is something the State can correct.

The state is not the anser to the problem.  The state is the problem.  The  state should do its job and guard our borders.
The government  ( state)   has done nothing but grow stronger. The stronger the government gets the less safe we are. The more crisis we have the more laws we get aimed at the citizens of our country and the stronger our government gets. There seems to be a pattern here.
  As long as the government keeps letting terrorists into our country the more crisis we will have.
  The United States is now the biggest  s aporter of terrorist,  since we gave Iran over 150 billion dollars.  Our government should be more cunsernd about what Iran is buying,  than what Apple is selling.
I don't see anything our government has done to protect us, they are doing just the opposite.

Underh what you said about the second amendment is incomplete and misleading.  The word regulated had a much diffrent meaning  at the time the second amendment was passed.
I have a copy of the constitution, and this is what is says----

A well regulated ( traind) militia,  being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to Keep and Bear Arms, shall not be INFRINGED.

Now today we think of government control when we  hear the word regulation, but when the constitution was written the word regulated ment traind.

If we're going that route, when the constitution was written we had just finished fighting a war with a fairly oppressive monarchy... the bulk of our forces being a militia.  At the time the possibility of needing the populace ready to fight again was very real, so they included in that amendment that citizens needed to be ready to form a militia again.

The constitution says Rights of the People not the Rights of the militia.
The constitution says the peoples Right to keep and bear arms shell Not be INFRINGED.
  There are no if,  and, but, only or any legal term or condition to the Rights of the People to keep and Bear Arms.  The forming of a militia is not a condition to the Rights of the People to keep and bear arms, but the main reason for it.
The liberals and progressive also keep leaving out the word INFRINGED.
The constitution is not only a legal document,  it is also the law.  The constitution was written to protect the people from our own government.

When people talk about defining the constitution,  what they really mean is redefine the constitution.  The first and second amendment  are clear in what they say.  Unfortunately too menney people do not know the constitution. Leaving those who want a dictatorial government to mislead the people by redefining the constitution.

Now as to what you said I left  out.I left nothing out. You asked me to say what it was you keep ignoring.   Thats what I anserd (infringed)

By redefining and misquoting the constitution  we now have a corrupt supreme court and a corrupt government that is  accountable to no one. Those in power  ignore our laws. The constitution was written as law of the land in order to prevent that.   Now like most corrupt lawyers  when they want to change a legal document they try to redefine the document,  and a corrupt judge is a big help to them.  With a corrupt government you get  corrupt judges.   When was the last time you ever voted for a supreme court judge? ?

I'm proud that you're able to maintain such strong views with your limited understanding of the English language. 

Why wouldn't we need to redefine the constitution?  It was written in a time considerably different than the one we live in now.  Case and point, the "arms" that are referenced in the 2nd amendment took roughly 30 seconds to fire a single shot and were sort of kind of accurate.  So why as a country wouldn't we want to modernize the document our gov't is supposed to be based on?

Thank  you for the left hand compliment. I know I have limited writing skills. I havent bin in school for over  40 years,  and my work has never required me to have good communication skill.
I have never typed a word untill here on IC.
  I made sure my son did not grow up with my short coming. The only thing that keeps him from going for a PHD is money.

These are not my views. The  right to bear arms is law.
You can not legally reinterpret the constitution legally. The constitution can only legally be changed when  three fourths of the states have agreed to the change. Thats just the first step.it still has to go through the house and the senate. Neither the president , or the supreme court can change the constitution or make any laws.  Unfortunately they have bin . I fail to understand why anyone would think that its ok for our courts and our government to brake the law.

The constitution is and will never be outdated. People and corruption. Is still as bad or worse. . As far as the weapons go, why should a criminal and corrupt government be allowed to be better armed than the people. When you have a government that fears the people you have freedom, but when you have the people fear the government you have tyranny.

The constitution is a law that protects the people. Why would you not want the people protected.  There  is a legal way of changing the constitution,  but dont change the constitution when you have corruption in the court's and government.

Cause you didn't suggest it be amended. You suggested it be ignored.
